Mr. Brian Lamont Cunningham

Brian Lamont Cunningham affectionately known as B.C., was born on November 20,1964, to the union of the late Wilburn and Vaness (Birrs) Cunningham in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the fourth of seven children. Brian received his formal education in the Milwaukee Public School District, graduating from Hamilton High School in 1983. Brian accepted Christ as his Savior at an early age and united with St. Mark AME Church. He assisted with the works of the Trustee Board. He - Loved - St. Mark. His employment history was with Wisconsin Kitchen Mart, St. Mark AME Church, Metro Market and Pete's Food Market. Brian was truly a family man. His biggest passion in life was family and friends. He loved all the family gatherings - cookouts, camp outs, vacations, dinners, and just hanging out with family. He worked hard to incorporate a meaningful relationship with his only loving son, Breon, to carry out this legacy with his grandchildren. He wanted them to know the Lord, know about family, unity, love and respect for each other. He was a devoted Dad and Papa. He was definitely Grandfather of the Universe. He Loved - Him - Some - Grandchildren. Whenever Brian was with family or friends, there was sure to be laughter. He was the life of the party. He could find humor at all times and in all situations. Brian , was an avid Packer fan who loved cooking and playing dominoes. He was a caring and gentle soul, very emotional about life and others. His heart was full. When his siblings tried to share words of redirection and wisdom, Brian responded in a comical matter. There is so much to say about our Brian, one thing for sure, what he thought always came out in his words and actions ... and get out of the way when he was on a mission and multi-tasking. You had to love his determination and always aiming to please with a smile. His unique personality and actions will never be forgotten by this family and friends. Brian departed this life November 24, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. Preceding Brian in death: parents, Wilburn and Vaness Birts Cunningham; sister, Deborah Holifield; brothers, Keith and Aric Cunningham; grandparents, Leonard and Mabel Birts and Alberta Woods; niece, Keirra Armstrong. Brian will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his son, Breon; five grandchildren, Breonte, Kylan, Marlie, Kingston and Wale; two sisters, Carmen and Michelle of Milwaukee, WI; one brother, Darrell Cunningham of Laveen, AZ; aunts and uncles, Deloris Carter, Berry Birts, Mavis (Thomas) McCallum, Pearl (Charles) Brown, Donna (Kurt) Hamlin; endearing nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
