Mr. Antonyo D. Baker

Antonyo Dawane Baker was born on February 9, 1984, to Katherine Denise Baker and Winfred Burks in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Antonyo was a bright and caring child looking to please all those who loved him. Antonyo began his formal education within the Wisconsin private school system. This propelled his entrepreneurial dreams, leading him down a lifelong road of culinary arts, carpentry, and electronic repairs. However, his primary job was caring for his daughter, mother, and grandmother. Antonyo had a radiant personality, smile, and laugh that could light even the darkest room. Antonyo loved spending quality time with his family that included cooking, music, and sharing a vibe while creating memories. He also had a passion for cars, fishing, and spending time outdoors. Antonyo Dawane Baker departed this life on October 25, 2024. He was preceded in death by his: grandfather, Louis W. Young; niece, Callise S. Hardnett; and nephew, Marquez Bolden. He leaves to cherish his memory: daughter, Zarriah Crooms; mother, Katherine Baker; father, Winfred Burks; sisters, Camillia Hardnett, Carmen Bolden, and Sharey Partee; brothers, Praino Hill, Ossie Baker III, and Deangelo Baker; grandmother, Olina Young; uncles, Ossie Baker Jr. and Keith Baker; nieces and nephews, Taliya, Taniyah, Caeley, Teyana, Tommie Hardnett III, Danajah Holmes, Amira Baker, and Karim Baker; best friend, Tommie L. Hardnett Jr.; and a host of cousins, family, and friends. TO MY BIG BROTHER, I remember the phone calls like it was yesterday. I remember the trips like yesterday. I remember the times like yesterday; that could never be forgotten. Dawg, I remember when you used to stick your finger in your belly button and wipe it under my nose and watch my face frown up. For the longest, I couldn't figure out where that smell came from, but when I found out ... boy I tell you, that belly button used to stank. But I know one thing, I will miss that barbecue, and that chicken recipe isn't going anywhere, I got that on lock. I'm sitting back reminiscing on all the times we had. It was only us two in the house growing up, besides my daddy, Uncle Keith, and Punkie. Everybody knows we were Momma's last grand boys, ain't no question about that. I'm going to miss you with all my heart, Big Boe, words can't even explain. You are going to forever live on in all our hearts. Gone, but never forgotten. Until we're able to barbeque again.
