Mr. Aric Cunningham

On April 26, 2023, God saw the road getting rough, the hills were hard to climb. He gently closed Aric's loving eyes and whispered, "Peace be Thine."The weary hours, the days of pain, the ever patient worn out frame, has found rest at last. Aric Jermaine "OX" Cunningham was born July 15, 1972 to the union of the late Wilburn and Vaness Cunningham in Milwaukee, WI. MC received his formal education in the Milwaukee Public School System, graduating from James Madison High School in 1991. He furthered his education at Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC) studying Interior Design. Aric was baptized at six months of age and later at the age of twelve, he became a member of St. Mark AME Church. He worked at the Packing Corporation of America (PCA) for many years until his health failed him. Aric was very unique, a force unto himself - A gentle and very quiet spirit, with great sensitivity to his feelings of others. He loved to share "Good Laughs." He possessed an "Iconic Wit." He had great affection and love for his family and friends. Aric was an ardent music and sports fan. He loved the Green Bay Packers, if they won or lost. Dominoes was his game. That's when the quiet spirit momentarily left him, talking smack and thoroughly beating his subjects. Weather permitting, you could pass by his home, and there would be Aric sitting on the porch chilling. Aric's greatest love and passion was his beautiful_daughter Kira.The Lord blessed him when Kira spent two weeks prior to his death visiting him here.in Milwaukee. He would have that "Million -dollar" smile, when she was around. Aric was so proud of her accomplishments at her early age (Top Honor Student, National Award Essay Writing a the American Flag.) Kira and her sister always been the Joy in his smile, the Sparkle in his eyes, and the Love of his life Oh -Yea He was a very-Proud Dad-One-of a kind. Aric's profound spirit will linger in the hearts and minds of countless individuals. Aric was proceeded in death by parents, Wilburn and Vaness Cuningham; grandparents, Leonard and Mabel Birrs and John and Alberta Wood; sister, Deborah (Carnie) Holifield; brother, Keith Cunningham; and niece, Keirra Armstrong. Aric leaves to cherish his precious memories, two loving daughters, Kira and Kailey Cunningham of Midlothian, TX; 2 sisters, Carmen and Michelle of 'Milwaukee, WI; 2 brothers, Brian of Milwaukee, WI and Darrell Cunningham of Laveen, AZ; nieces and nephews, Davonte, Breon and Darrell Jr. Cunningham, Hope and Cameron Armstrong of Milwaukee and Faith Cunningham of Scottsdale, AZ; 7 great-nieces and nephews; uncles and aunts, including one special aunt, Deloris Carter, and a host of relatives and friends, including two little friend who brightened his life daily, Kaci and Kristin.
