Mr. Arthur Leon Lenora

Arthur Leon Lenora was born on August 9, 1941 to the union of Lee Arthur Lenora and Glennie Gilbert Lenora in Springhill, Louisiana. Arthur Leon accepted Christ at an early age and was united with Harrison Chapel Baptist Church where he was active in Sunday School and the BTU. He received his formal education from Springhill Public School System and graduated from Brown High School in 1960. Leon was quarterback for the varsity football team and was voted Best Athlete. He was gifted with his hands and enjoyed Industrial Arts class. After high school, Leon enlisted in the United States Navy and served his country honorably. he was employed by Briggs & Stratton and STRATTEC Security Corporation as a Punch Press Set Up technician. He retired in 2002 after 25 years of service from STRATTEC Corporation. In his leisure time, Leon enjoyed coaching baseball, watching football, golf, and entertaining his family and friends. As a child he was nicknamed "Bo" and his name followed him throughout his life. Bo was always willing to help his family and friends, especially the youth. He was a personal banker, travel agent, confident, mentor and therapist. Leon was united in holy matrimony with Dolores Hall on May 25, 2001 at Bethesda Church of God in Christ in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This was the beginning of a wonderful partnership that only death could separate. Arthur Leon Lenora departed this life on Sunday, December 28, 2014. he was preceded in death by his parents, Le Arthur and Glennie Lenora; brother, Arthur Lee Lenora; and nephews, Clarence Wayne Charles and Larry Darnell Charles. he leaves to cherish his memory: loving wife, Dolores; devoted daughters, Angela Lenora of Los Angeles, California, LaToya (LeMelle) Frazier of Houston, texas; faithful son, Bradley Lenora of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; a loyal step-son Tracy Bradley; two adoring sisters, Lorene Butts and Lessie Hudson; and an "adopted" brother, Kwabena Falson, all of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; remarkable grandsons, JaMelle and Jalen Frazier of Houston, Texas, a cherished aunt, Mattie Pearl (Norfleet) Lynch of San Diego, California; a host of treasured nephews, nieces, cousins, special friends, and t eh Brown High School class of 1960. We gather today to share memories of his life, his generosity, his compassion, and his wit. We remember him today, as we always will, with profound respect and never-ending love!
