Ms. Bridgett Denise Williams

Bridgett Denise Williams was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, September 5, 1966 to the union of Deacon Thomas E. and Lenora Williams. She was the eldest of two children. . She accepted Christ in 1976, under the leadership of Pastor John H. Brent, at Mount Carmel Missionary Baptist Church, where she worked faithfully in the Jr. Choir. Later, under the leadership of Pastor Hugh Davis, she worked faithfully in the young adult choir, Sunday school, and wherever else she could help out. Bridge, as she was also lovingly known, completed elementary school at Clara Barton; middle school at Webster; and graduated from Nicolet High School in Glendale, WI. She landed her first job at Goodwill Corporation on 91st and Fond Du Lac, while she was in high school, as a cashier. Bridgett also worked at the Goodwill Senior Center and several group homes, as she was a people person; which is evident, all these years later. Shortly after graduation she attempted post-secondary schooling at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, and then MATC. After working several jobs, she went on to complete her post-secondary schooling in Community Education at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, as a Bachelor of Science. She also completed her master’s degree program in Mental Health Counseling at Springfield College-Milwaukee, where she would have graduated August 19, 2013 as a Mastor of Science. She performed her internship at Bell Therapy, and loved working with the clients and staff there. Her life, love and laugher, meant a lot to so many. Bridgett enjoyed playing the piano, good gospel music and poetry. Her best friend Annette remembers Bridgett as someone who drew people to her. "She would always be approached by someone who either had a question, needed help, or just for light conversation. She loved all kinds of music. She loved reading, history, and a good cheesecake." Annette came to know the LORD as a result of Bridgett's prayers. On Wednesday, August 14,2013, at the young age of 46, the final chapter of a well-spent earthly life was written and closed, when the overseer of all things summoned His angels to gently close the eyes of our beloved "Bridqe"- to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord (II Corinthians 5:8). She leaves many precious memories with her mother: Lenora Williams; father: Deacon Thomas E. Williams; brother: Daryl a. (Lori) Williams, Sr.; grandmother: Everlean Williams - all of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; neices: Brittany Jackson and Kindall Gillium; nephews: Christopher Williams and Daryl a. Williams, Jr.; one great-niece: Kristian; four (4) aunts, four (4) uncles, and cousins. She also leaves precious memories with a loving and devoted bestfriend, Annette Callazo, whom she loved like a sister, and Annett's daughter, Katerina Dioz, whom she loved as a niece - of California: John Sieiziz; a special classmate: AI Austin and other classmates; the staff of Springfield College; staff and clients at Bell Therapy, and a host of old and new friends. She will truly, truly, be missed by all who knew and loved her.
