Mr. David Green

David Juan Green was born on June 11, 1963, to the union of Larie Green and Reverend Squire Green Jr. in Wauwatosa, WI, David was the youngest of eleven siblings. From an early age, David embraced Christ as his Lord and Savior, and he regularly attended church with his family during his formative years. David pursued his education at Bradley Tech before earning a degree in political science from UW-Milwaukee. He served in the United States Army from 1983 to 1987, training as an air assault specialist. Over the course of his military career, he completed more than one hundred jumps and became one of the sharpest shooters in his platoon. During his deployment in Egypt in 1985, David's first child, Nicholas was born. David was honorably discharged in 1987 to be with his growing family. After his time in the Army, David worked as a paralegal for the ACLU. In 1990, he welcomed his baby girl Rhineasha into the world. David later joined Veterans Hospital, where he became a passionate advocate for his fellow veterans. His dedication to helping others was a hallmark of his life and career. David was known for his impeccable sense of style, his charisma, and a smile that could light up any room. His personality radiated joy and optimism, especially in the company of family and friends. He was a fan of old-school hip-hop, enjoyed ethnic foods particularly tacos, tostadas, and Jamaican oxtails. David loved traveling and being able to see the world. One of his proudest moments was traveling to Mexico to witness his son's wedding. He also made it a priority to visit his daughter Rhineasha in Texas after the birth of her children. Above all, David adored his children, grandchildren, and he took great joy in being an active Pm: of their lives. David's strong sense of family was at the core of who he was. He loved and appreciated his elders, especially his Aunt Doretha Bowens. He was always there for his family and friends, offering support during both the high and low of times during life. David departed this life on Tuesday, February 18,2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, Larie and Squire Green, as well as his siblings: Dee Green, Margret Green, Roosevelt Green, Shirley Lofton, Allen Green, and Louis Green. David leaves behind a legacy oflove and strength through his children, Nicholas (Ashley) of Milwaukee and Rhineasha Green of Dallas, as well as his four sisters: Gloria Hayward, Melinda Green, Geraldine Green, and Evelyn Boyles, all of Milwaukee. His memories carry on through his six beautiful grandchildren: Devine, Nicholas Jr, Daniel, Noah, Dutchess, and Dream, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. He's also survived by his lifelong friend Michael Warren.
