Ms. Deborah Ann Shelton

Deborah Ann Shelton "Deb" was born on Friday, February 24, 1956to the union of Willie Lee and Omega Shelton in Milwaukee, WI. She was the youngest of her four siblings. Deb attended school in the Milwaukee Public School System and graduated from North Division High School. She also attended MBTI Business Training Institute where she received an Associate Degree in Business Management. Deb was wonderfully blessed with two daughters, Tiffany Marie Shelton and LaShena Andrea McGinnins as well as one grandson, Jeremy Willis Alexander who was also known as the absolute joy of her life. Deb spent the majority of her employment with GKN Sinter Metals. In later years and as her health began to fail she focused her attention on assisting Tiffany with raising her grandson, Jeremy. As a young boy, Deb made sure he got off to school on time and was there to meet him after school. On occasion when the school would call home because Jeremy was in trouble Deb had no problem telling the school to "call his mother, don't you have his mother's number at work, call 911 that's what they are there for." But when Jeremy had issues with kids on the bus, Deb was there to meet the bus and have a few choice word with the parent of the kid that was messing with "mine" as she often referred to Jeremy. Deb's true and main passion was shopping. She loved shopping with LaShena and was always in search of a sale. She was a fashionista in every sense of the word. Deb loved fine clothes, shoes and jewelry at a bargain no less. She also enjoyed cooking and her favorite channel was The Food Network. She was famous for her sense of humor, being the life of the party and her frank and matter-of-fact wit. Deb was preceded in death by her parents, Willie Lee and Omega Shelton, and one sister, Antrese Marie Shelton. She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Tiffany Marie Shelton and LaShena Andrea McGinnis, one grandson, Jeremy Willis Alexander, two brothers Richard Shelton (Houston, TX) and Stanley (Renae) Shelton, one sister Deadre Nash, three special honorary sisters, Jeanette Shelton, Patricia Shelton and Brenda Shelton, two uncles, Edward (Juanita) Harrison and Elder Prince (Marie) Harrison, two aunts, Ethel Mae Shelton (also honorary mother), and Mamie Brown, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.
