Demerio Isaiah Thomas

Demerio Isaiah Thomas "A Gentle Giant With Wings" was born July 2, 1997 to Arthur L. Thomas Jr. and Valecha N. Banks in Milwaukee, WI. He was baptized at the age of two months at the Rhema Word of Lakewood, CA, under Pastor Bobbie Greene. His first word was "Uncle" at seven months, which was a tribute to his fond love for his host of uncles. He took his first steps at the age of ten months. He displayed early in his life that he could exceed "normal expectations". He was a happy child, always smiling and at every opportunity playing practical jokes on others. Demerio would light up a room with his beautiful smile. Demerio moved to Lakewood, CA at the tender age of fifteen days old and at the age of three began taking acting lessons with Betty Bridges Management (Mother of Todd Bridges) and was shortly signed by Hollander Talent Group. He auditioned for regular roles such as: Daddy's Day Care (Eddy Murphy), Are We There Yet? (Ice Cube), Lexus, GAP, McDonald's, Disney and numerous other corporations. He attended Del Amo Elementary School (Carson, CA), Carnegie Middle School (Carson, CA) and Frend High School (Palatine, IL). He was lookingforward to being a part of the Graduation Class of2015. He participated in several sports such as Football, Wrestling and Track and Field which he medalled. All those who knew him knew that he was a diehard Los Angeles Lakers and Pittsburgh Steelers Fan - in season and out of season - winning or losing. Preceding him in death were his Step-Brother Aaron C. Thomas, his grandfather Arthur Lee Thomas, Sr., his Uncle Mahlon Thomas and Great Uncle John Banks . Demerio leaves to cherish his memory - his Parents Arthur Thomas, Jr. and Valecha Banks; his step-brother: Arthur L. Thomas III; his five Step-sisters: Nicole Thomas, Chenell Jones, Cree Thomas, Chantell Jones and Malaika Thomas; his Paternal Grandmother: Jimmie D. Thomas; Maternal Grandparents: Ira R. Banks (WI) and Johnnie Greene (CA); three Aunts: Veronica Banks, Leslie Savala and Mickey Savala; Great Aunts: Joann Banks (WI), Lorean Hill (MS), Sylvia Dunnavent (TX) and Special Great Aunt and Uncle Alene (Ben) Harris (CA); Great-Grandparents: Eula Lee Hill (MS), Verna Lee Banks and Al and Barbara Hill (WI); Great Uncles: Archie (Betty) Banks, David (Tina) Banks, Dashawn (Sarah) Hill (WI), Daniel (Debbie) Pittman, Billy Hill, and Michael Hill (MS) and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
