Mr. Dondale Lamont Young

Dondale Lamont Young was born on September 23, 1974 to Jeradine Young and Alonzo Clemmons. His education was acquired in the Milwaukee Public School System. Dondale grew up with his mother and three siblings. He was the youngest son and always felt the need to protect his family. Dondale declared his belief in Christ at a young age, being baptized at True Light B.C. in Milwaukee. He later joined the Community of Grace B.C. under the leadership of Pastor Bobby L. Sinclair. Dondale had a love for building as a child. With the guidance of his grandfather, he and his friends built their fun by building scooters, cars, skateboards and more. Wood shop was his favorite class where he built speakers, cabinets, and his most treasured item was his mother's first bar. Dondale had his time being a kid. At fifteen, he found that he was going to be a father. That is when he began to grow up an be responsible. He allowed his love for basketball and building to become his "footing" into a life that proved to be worthwhile. Dondale attended North Division High School. During his sophomore year, his friend Damon Tyler encouraged him to try out for the basketball team and that year he didn't make it. When he tried out in his junior year he made the team under Coach Robert Kern. After graduating, Dondale attended MATC and played with the MATC Stormers. He left and went to Liberty University, playing with the "Liberty Flames." After a year, Dondale returned home. decided to try the corporate world of truck driving. Not liking time away from family, he began to work in construction and his coaching career began. While in construction, he no longer wanted to work for anyone. He learned the trade and started his own business, "Masonry Plus." In addition to having his business, he felt the need to develop a basketball program, "Wisconsin Elite" that would allow children to hone their skills and encourage their growth. Many young people were a part of this program. They traveled all over the U.S. for games and tournaments. Dondale gave tirelessly of himself to family, friends, and often to people he did not know. If there was a need, he filled it. He was committed to family, making sure that all blew of support to achieve their highest potential. He enjoyed life, family, and many friends, and was always there to brighten the lives of others. Dondale closed the doors to this life on Friday, July 7, 2023. He was preceded in death by his brother, Adrian Young, Godfather, David Needom, grandparents, two uncles, and one aunt. He leaves to mourn and cherish his memory four children, Cashayla Needom and Najeal Young of Phoenix AZ., Lydell Young, Rochester MN, and Jazmine Young of Buffalo, NY. His mother, Jeradine Young-Grayson, Step-father, Kenneth Grayson, four grandchildren, Mikhia Needom, Phoenix, AZ, Jayden Young, Milwaukee, WI., Roman Young and Najeal Young Jr., of Chicago, IL. one brother, Cory Young, Milwaukee, WI. Two sisters, Dori Harness (Tyronne), Springfield, IL., and Frankie Young, Milwaukee,. three aunts, Vivian Young, Alberta (Paul) Dziadulewicz, and Tommie Young all of Milwaukee. two uncles. John Bowders, Oshkosh, WI., Lawrence Young of Milwaukee, WI. ten children given through God's favor, Durrell Johnson, Monica Walker, Traveon Seals, Ronald Kirk, Kali Malone, Makai Seals, TaLeesa Barron, Omunique Carter, Nasharee Turnbull and Allana White, companion, Makyda Booker, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
