Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Crumble

Elizabeth Ann Crumble was welcomed into this world on July 17, 1958 in Chicago, /L to the union of the late Joe Peeler, Jr. and Sarah Elizabeth Hawthorne-Peeler. Her parents felt especially blessed with the addition of their lovely baby girl, who became the youngest child born into their family. Her brothers James French Hawthorne and Joseph Peeler also preceded her in death. As a toddler, she was affectionately named "Sister" by her Dad. The name was befitting and family and friends adopted it accordingly when addressing her. Her maternal grandfather gave each grandchild a special name and she became "Yester Diddy Night': Her late father-in-law, Moses Milton Crumble, Jr. bestowed the endearing title "Daughter" upon her that she instinctively answered to all using the term of endearment. In womanhood, she embraced the most familiar form of her name "Liz': Liz dedicated her life to Jehovah on November 1,2010. She took her dedication seriously and told everyone what she believed and why she made the decision to become a Jehovah's Witness. She and her husband were one spiritually. Liz's educational experiences were shaped with offerings from several entities in her journey to adulthood: Lathrop Elementary (Chicago, /L), Long Creek Attendance Center (Sallis, MS), and North Division H.5. (Milwaukee, WI), Certified at Milwaukee Technical College. Liz was known to exhibit a compassionate spirit that compelled her to believe that everyone deserved the support of a helping hand. On this path, she functioned in various roles as an Environmental Services Technician in the healthcare industry, Transporter for social service agencies, Culinary Specialist in support of child care programs, and most recently as a Caregiver and Companion for citizens requiring assistance with the needs of daily living. However, early on, she realized that her true calling was building the hearth of her home. It was this role that she embraced passionately. She became an excellent wife, wonderful mother, tried and true friend, and an outstanding homemaker with impeccable culinary skills and an insatiable love of music from all genres. Her attention to organization and design were artfully implemented to curate beautiful and comfortable environments .• within the homes she and Philip provided for their family. Liz loved company gathering around the table to have a bite to eat. The gatherings joined people and that warmed her heartgreatly. Everyone could see the joy in her eyes that produced the biggest and brightest smile from the enjoyable interactions she experienced with family and friends. She loved entertaining and become known as "Ms. Hospitality" because everyone felt welcome in her home. Where does one begin to describe a relationship that was destined to be? Well, Liz and Philip cultivated a beautiful dance that was created with an ease that accommodated their growth over the past 45 years. September the 9th has been a remarkable and memorable day in the lives of Liz and Philip Crumble. The love of Liz's life (Philip Anthony Crumble) was born on September 9th• The couple secured their union on September 9th and extended their legacy with the birth of their son, Ivan Tremel on September 9th• What do you think? Is the beauty of this alignment coincidence or destiny? With such a quiet and mild demeanor, you might wonder, who was Liz? Well, friends and family that were fortunate to know her, would say that she definitely had a kind and giving spirit. Her humor was always engaging and a breath of fresh air for everyone. Liz blossomed into the beautiful person we have all grown to love. She was known for a distinctive, jovial cackle that tickled her soul and yours too, if you had an opportunity to experience it. Liz was a consummate hostess who made all visitors welcome in their home. Many meals were prepared to share at her table and all were fed well. A warm yet demanding personality won the hearts of her loving grandchildren, as well as.family and friends. Within her giving spirit, she fellow shipped genuinely with others and developed friendships that grew strong and lasted long. Most importantly, Liz was beloved and cared for deeply by Philip, as she was the "yin" to his "yanq" The love her family and friends exhibited for her was immeasurable. We stutter to think of what we will do without her until we see her again. Though the family will momentarily be parted from her, we will recall the essence of her being as a memorable fragrance absent from the container, but forever lingering in our hearts and minds. Liz loved all of us and we can't wait to see her again. A host of loving Aunts and Uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
