Ms. Elizabeth McFadden

A Time To Be Born: Elizabeth McFadden was born on June 9, 1951 in Kingstree, South Carolina. She was affectionately called "Liz" and was the youngest of five children born to the late Elliott and Senna McFadden. A Time To Learn: Liz attended the public schools of Williamsburg County and graduated from Tomlinson High School in Kingstree, South Carolina. After graduation, she matriculated at Friendship Junior College in Rockhill, South Carolina, where she obtained an Associate Degree. After relocating to Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1973, she attended Career Academy, Inc. and received a Certificate of Proficiency for her training as a Medical Assistant. Liz's family's was a member of St. Michael Methodist Church, she was raised in a Christian home where she received her early Christian education and accepted Jesus Christ at an early age. She was active in the youth and children programs. Liz was involved in the annual summer Vacation Bible School. A Time To Serve: She was employed by and retired from Stone Smurfit Container after twenty-five years as Customer Service Representative. After retirement, she continued to work in customer services at Lake Express Ferry Co. and JC Penny. Liz was well respected by her co-workers, family and friends. She was always professional and dedicated in all her endeavors. In her leisure, Liz enjoyed skiing, biking, golf lessons, collecting recipes, stamps, coins and American Girl Dolls. She was very good with electronics and enjoyed the challenge of taking them apart and putting them back together. She was a lover of music. She was very passionate about music and enjoyed attending the Caribbean Festival with her sister in Canada. Liz also enjoyed traveling to visit her family in California. A Time To Die: Elizabeth departed this life on Thursday, September 17, 2015, at Ozaukee Columbia St. Mary's Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elliott and Senna McFadden; two brothers, Johnny W. McFadden and Elliott McFadden, Jr. A Time To Mourn: She leaves to cherish her memories two loving sisters, Dorothy (Noah) Allen of Los Angeles, California and Geri McFadden of Mequon, Wisconsin; three aunts, Pearl Green, Thelma Johnson and Loretha Green of New York City, New York; two nieces, Geraldine Lee McFadden, of Atlanta, Georgia and J amila Allen of Los Angeles, California; one nephew, Joseph McFadden of Tampa, Florida; one great-nephew, Shayquan McFadden of Atlanta, Georgia; and a host of other relatives and friends.
