Mrs. Eloise Robinson

Eloise (Coleman) Robinson was born on August 20th, 1945 to the late Norris and Elnora (Rice) Coleman in Elkton, Kentucky. She was the 4th of five beautiful daughters. Eloise was educated in the Todd County School System graduating from Todd Training. She later received additional education at Milwaukee Business Training Institute and Milwaukee Area Technical College in Milwaukee, WI. She accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Phillip Chapel, C.M.E. Church until she married and moved away. She was united in Holy Matrimony to Alvin Robinson, a former Drill Sargent of the United States Army. In 1969 she, her husband and young children moved to Milwaukee, WI where she lived the remainder of her beautiful life. In total this union was blessed with four children. In 1976 Eloise joined Ellison Chapel A.M.E. Church under the leadership of Reverend Edward Chesnut, where she was a loyal and faithful servant until her untimely death. Eloise was a dedicated member for almost 48 years at Ellison Chapel, serving in various ministries to include Finance Team, Usher Board, Sunday School Superintendent and Steward. She had several jobs during her lifetime but her most fulfilling and treasured roles were as a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She absolutely loved her "Grands" and her "Greats" and was thankful for each of them. She was extremely family oriented and visited her hometown without fail, every year to spend time with her family and friends. Eloise was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She also was a very loving and giving person. She always helped those that were in need. Eloise was a devoted Christian and was "On Fire" for the Lord; studying the Word fervently and sharing the gospel with others. For more than 10 years, she participated in a weekly bible study at the Sherman Park Senior Citizen Center. She attended faithfully and shared her knowledge and experiences with others. On, Monday, April 29th, Eloise transitioned peacefully into eternal life. She was preceded in death by grandsons De'Ron Coleman and Ja'Vonte Robinson, husband, Alvin Robinson, son Carlton Robinson and daughter, Gloria Coleman. She leaves to cherish her loving memory, daughters, Carolyn (Timothy) Young, Connie (Rodney) Mitchell Grandchildren, Brooke, Jessyca, Montez, JaQuia, Andrew, Neena, Lynia, Daylond and Aaron. Great grandchildren, Jameela, Jeremiah, Janiyah, Jayla, Rhianna, Jessie, JaQuise, Jermell and Ja'Layiah, sister Mary Dye, brother -in-law Charles (Lucille) Robinson and a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends. While she is no longer with us in the physical sense, she will forever live within our hearts. Eloise may be gone but she will never be forgotten. She will me missed deeply by all that knew and loved her.
