Ms. Emma Lue Thompson

Emma Lue Thompson was born on December 15, 1950 to the union of Robert and Alice Lee in Lela.nd Mississippi. Emma Lue received her formal education in Lela.nd MS as well as attending Lincoln High School in Milwaukee. Wisconsin. Emma Lue accepted Christ as her Savior at an early age and was united with Pastor Jones church on Palmer St. and Elder Wilkerson's church on 20th St. Emma Lue was united with Hosea. B. Simmons as forever partners in Miwaukee. WI. Their union was blessed with three children and two additional sons joined the family. In her leisure she enjoyed cooking, loving and nurturing her children and her home. Her heart was always open for farnily friends and strangers. If you needed food and shelter she gave without any complaints. She loved to cook those "down-home soulfood" meals. She made homemade chocolate & chocolate on chocolate cupcakes. She would hop on a greyhound bus to travel to Chicago and Mississippi and boy did she love to shop for furniture for her grandbabies - always - in her healthier days. Emma Lue departed this life August 15. 201 2 but now she's in her resting place. She was preceeded in dea.th by her father; Robert Lee, mother, Alice Lee, four sisters; Barbara-Lee Moye, Shirley McDonald, Thelma Harvester, Patricia Lee and a brother, Jimmy Harvester. She leaves to cherish her memory her partner of heart, Hosea Simmons. Emma Lue's presence will be greatly missed by her five children, Minister Sandra {Minister Robert) Williams. Berniece Thompson. Hosea Thompson, Adam Thompson and De' Ondre'(Paul] 'I'hompson, five brothers, Johnny Lee, Jerry Lee, A.D. Lee, Terry (Patricia) Lee, and Rickey Lee. Her memory will also be cherished by her three surviving sisters; Curtis Jean (John) Trotte,. Mar y Alice({Derrick) Smith and Julia Green and the joys of her life, ten grandchildren; Robert Williams Jr , KaTandra Williams, Kar-Andra Williams, Devaci William, Summer Joy Williams, Domonique Rainey, Unique Rainey, Hosea Thompson Jr., Velonte Thompson and La Drea Thompson. She is also survived by three great grandchildre; Anthony Jr., Damarrus, and Keon. Some very special people who also cherishes the memories of Emma Lue Thompson are a very special niece, Tammy, affectionately called "TamTam" who she adored and loved so much, Camille. Lashaunda, Duma and Linda who were like daughters to her, and very dear to her heart and last but not least very special sons to he;. Robert, her son in-law and Dominique.
