Mrs. Jimmie Lee Liddell

Jimmie Lee Liddell was born on May 5, 1944, to the late O.D, Hudson and Jimmie McClough Hudson. Jimmie was number seven of ten children and her family tree grew when the late O.D. Hudson later remarried and was blessed with seventeen additional children. Jimmie was a long time member of the United Pentecostal Church in Pasadena ,California. When Jimmie moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, she worshiped at Park Lawn Assembly of God. Jimmie received her formal education in the Tallahatchie, Mississippi school system. Jimmie had an infectious smile that lit up a room whenever you were in her presence to the point that you couldn't help but to smile too! Jimmie worked for twenty- seven years at Von's Grocery Store in Arcadia California. While working at Von's, Jimmie received numerous monthly awards and prestigious accolade for her unwavering outstanding quality customer service. Jimmie retired and moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to be closer to her children. During her retirement. Jimmie enjoyed spending time with her family; whether it was for a holiday, birthday, a special celebration, or just an ordinary Monday. Jimmie was loved by all who met her on a daily basis or while participating in her favorite hobby as a professional shopaholic. Jimmie's famous phrase before a shopping extravaganza was, "get your coat, and put your red lipstick on!" Jimmie was truly a fashionista by every meaning and definition of the word elegant. Even during Jimmie's illness, she made sure to make the load lighter for her family and those who cared for her. Jimmie never stopped fighting, nor did she ever give up hope that she could pull through her storm. Jimmie would often say, "she would pull through this, and "I can do this", with her award winning smile. On Saturday, April 27, 2019, Jimmie said farewell to this life and she: "lived every moment, laughed every day, and loved her family beyond words". Proceeding Jimmie in her death :siblings: Willie B.
