Mr. Johnnie Kearney Yarbrough Jr.

Johnnie Kearney Yarbrough Jr was born July 20, 1948 to the union of father Johnnie Kearney Yarbrough Sr. and mother Geneva Yarbrough (Glover) in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Johnnie accepted Christ at an early age under Pastor Alexander At First Baptist Church in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Johnnie completed High School and received his diploma in 1966 From Merrill High School in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Johnnie served in the US Army Force from September 10, 1970 until September 9, 1976. During his time served in the military, Johnnie fought in the Vietnam War. Johnnie received his National Defense Service medal, Good Conduct medal and received an outstanding training medal and a Marksman Rifle M-16. Johnnie was honored to serve for his country. After his military service, Johnnie then attended AMN College (now known as UAPB) in 1977 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Johnnie completed two years with Associate Degree in Auto Mechanics and Welding. Johnnie was employed at Arkansas Furniture store, Tyson Foods and the US postal service. During johnnie's early years in life he married Annette Bell and with this union was one daughter Elaine Yarbrough. Johnnie later met Della White in 1997 and they were married on November 13,1999 until God called Johnnie home to be his servant in Paradise. Johnnie loved to spend time with family and friends. Johnnie also loved to listen to music and crack jokes. Johnnie enjoyed going to church and was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist church in Dumas, Arkansas under Pastor P.C Holley. During Johnnie's residence in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, he joined New Paradise Baptist Church as a member and Deacon under Pastor Mark Allen. He then rejoined New Paradise United Baptist Church in 2023 under Pastor Benjamin Yancey. Johnnie is preceded in death by parents; Johnnie Yarbrough Sr. and Geneva Yarbrough Glover, grandsons; Antwuan White, Damarius McCray and Dhurron Cooper. Johnnie leaves to cherish his memories to his beautiful wife; Della Yarbrough, sister; Mazarean Jean Kearney Yarbrough (Craig Woolfolk), sister in law; Classie Meadows, daughter; Elaine Yarbrough (Howard Mighty Sr.), grandchildren; Teresa Witchard, Tanika Johnson, Howard Mighty, Teniyah Mighty, step-daughters; Felishia, Jacqueline, Angela, Cassandra, Theresa and Shuron White, step-grandchildren; Porche, Antonio, Telisa (Kendall), Zachary, Angelo, Pascha, Aneisha, LaCandra, Shuniya, Tehya, Dhontrell, Shuneyce, Kyla , Shukeira, Tanessa and Paigh and 12-great grand children.
