Mrs. Kathryn Louise Coleman

OBITUARY Kathryn Louise Coleman (Kathy) was born on June 14, 1949 to the Union of Carl James Coleman Sr. and Mable Elizabeth McWilliams in Milwaukee, WI. Kathy received her early education from St, Benedict The Moore Catholic School. After High School graduation, Kathy received training and was licensed as both a CNA & LPN. She worked in several Nursing Homes for many years. Her last place of employment was with the Milwaukee County Parks Dept. She had to retire due to her failing health. Kathy accepted Christ at early age and was baptized at St. Benedict where she attend- ed for many years. Kathy visited several churches and then she joined Spirit of The Truth Ministries where she served as a greeter under the leadership of Rev. Sam Bel- ton. After the death of her mother Mable, her father Carl Sr. remarried. His wife Beverly Hightower was a widow with 7 children. The merging of the two families resulted in Kathy and her siblings having the addition of 7 other siblings. (The Coleman- Hightower Clan). Kathy refused to or allowed any of us to say we were "Step" any- thing: i.e. Mom, Brother or Sister. She said "we were gifts from GOD'S replacement of her biological mother with another mother and her children ready to move 00". Kathy loved life and her family, she loved to cook (a special talent she got from her father), sew, knit, crochet and paint ceramics. Her favorite past time was spending time with her family. Kathy was called from Labor to Rest on Saturday May 25, 2013 after a long illness and progressing failing health. Kathy was preceded in death by her mother ~ Ie Coleman, her father Carl James Coleman Sr., her two brothers Raymond P. Coleman and Carl Coleman Jr., her sister Erselyne J. Hightower and two grandchildren Gregory Smith, Jr. and Pauline Jones. Kathy leaves to cherish her-precious memories; Her mother Beverly Hightower- Coleman, One daughter: Lolanda M. Jones (Lo), Four sons: Gustavious J. (Gus) Cole- man Sr. (Kim), Antonio J. (Tony) Coleman, Ruben Terrell Coleman and Larry D. (Be Be) Jones Jr. Four sisters: Mary Ann (Robert) Smith, Debora (James) Williams, Felecia (Ivan) McClendon and Sherita K. Hightower. Four brothers: Michael L. High- tower, Richard N. Hightower Sr. and Flamond F. Hightower. Twenty-three grandchil- dren: Paul, Michael, Taja, Mable, DanieUe, Angel, Ericka, Jennifer, Gustavius Jr., Dontay, Arionnia, Antionette, Antonio Jr., Jerry, Kris, Antonio Ricky, Tern & Jeri, Larry Ill, Damario, Jasmine, Jayden and Jaiden. Thirty-four great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and other relatives and a special friend Mr. Larry Jones, Sr.
