Mr. Kevin Neal Alston

Kevin N. Alston was born on July 21, 1962 to the union of Robert Louis Alston and Catherine Hooks in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Kevin attended Washington High School. He furthered his education at Technology Institute all in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. Kevin was employed by Milwaukee Public School Board. He was forced into early retirement due to an injury he received at work. He was never married or had children, but he had a host of nieces and nephews great and great- great. Some may have considered him, like his grandmother (grouchy), but to them he was the favored Uncle, he loved the kids............ Some of the comments from the nieces and nephews about Uncle Pooney, he had only one dance (the whop), the Uncle that would come in pop in Stevie Wonder and eat the cookies, he would eat your snacks, if he thought he was right he would ride it to the end, I custom paint cars, but my Unc wanted me to make his Lincoln (LSC the Mark) immortal like he thought it was, Unc was a true Alston, he knew how to bring laughter to a room, will miss debating who's the hottest rapper out with him, I guess I will always win now. He thought about you when you were not there............... WE LOVE HIM! Although he had that seemingly hard exterior, he really was a very giving and fun loving person. He enjoyed music, family, friends, sports, the kids, his dogs and just plain fun. Kevin Alston departed the life June 23, 2017 at 10:24 A.M. He was preceded in death by his, Mother, Father, Brother (David Alston). He leaves to cherish his memory: Sister Mrs. Jacqueline R. (Carl) Campbell, five brothers, Daniel, William E., Robert W. (April), Corey L. Alston and Jarrod T. Johnson, six nieces: Geana N. (Chris), Sherita D. and Katelyn Alston, Dinena R. Campbell, Brooklyn D. R. Alston and Jodee M. Johnson and five nephews: Bobby W. Nelson, Daniel L. , William E., Jr., Eric T. and David A. Alston all of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, also a long time sister Nesle (Faye) and niece Kenya along with a host of other family and friends. Another thought...........This man was special to me. We shared lots of good times to times together, my best company ever. You will always have a place in my heart and mind. I can't miss you because you left me with memories that will last a life time. Rest in Peace love You Debbie
