Ms. Kimberly Nadine Tomasetti

Kimberly was the 4th child born to Carl Robert and Judith Ann (Stirn) Tomasetti on November 17, 1960 in Miami, Florida. She also had 4 younger siblings born in the California Bay Area where the family lived until they moved back to her mother’s hometown of Milwaukee in the summer of 1972. Her father was a first-generation Italian-American born in Flushing, New York. Kimberly had 2 sons, Shannon and Dominic Brown, with the love of her life Roosevelt Brown. For Kimberly, family was everything. Her sons have fond memories of their mom and dad taking them on vacation to the Wisconsin Dells every year. They also loved Six Flags Great America in Gurnee. When her grandchildren were old enough, Kimberly loved to take them to amusement parks too. Even as a grandma, Kimberly still loved roller coasters and the thrill of it all! Other places she loved to go were Chuck E. Cheese and David & Buster’s. Kimberly’s passion for life also showed in her love of dancing, especially to her favorite- James Brown singing “The Payback.” Shannon has many videos on his phone of his mom dancing away! Kimberly also loved spending time with her mother and siblings, their families, and going out to eat. The highlight of the year was always their annual Christmas gatherings! Next to family, Kimberly loved working; she was a very hard and proud worker for three companies - Tombstone/Kraft, Unilever, and Ventura Foods (most recently) for a combined total of almost 30 years. She was also very proud of owning her own home. One of her favorite things to do after coming home from working her 2nd shift was watching movies (especially scary ones) and old comedy shows (hmm I Dream of Jeannie and Gilligan’s Island- does that date us!!). Shannon loved watching scary movies with his mom; her older brother Dino fondly remembers enjoying “fright night” and indulging in pizza and popcorn with her. Kimberly was preceded in death by her father Carl Robert d. August 7, 1982; her beloved mother Judith Ann (Stirn) d. January 31, 2014; the love of her life Roosevelt Brown d. December 17, 2014; her Aunt Nancy (Stirn) Kapusta d. September 14, 2015; sister-in-law Pauline (Branski) Tomasetti d. Dec 1, 2001; brother-in-law William Tregler d. September 23, 2020; nephew Cody Holbach (Susan) b. and d. October 28, 1991. Kimberly is survived by her son Shannon (Jeanette) Brown and Dominic (Elizabeth Trina Campbell) Brown both of Milwaukee; her siblings Robert C. (Josie) Tomasetti of Chicago Ill; Deborah L. (Peter) Holt of Sauk Centre, MN; Dino R. (Peggy Linsenbigler) Tomasetti of Ormond Beach, Fl; Christina Tomasetti of Rhinelander, WI; Gregory H. (Marilyn) Tomasetti of Milwaukee, WI; Michael A. Tomasetti of Rhinelander, WI; and Susan M. Holbach of Fort Atkinson, WI. She is also survived by her grandchildren Shannon Brown Jr, Tavion Brown, Dominic Brown Jr, Kimberly Brown; Step Grandchildren Deshawn Hewings, Savanna Hewings, Anna Hewings, Marion Hewings, Jayla Hewings, Wilmara Patterson, Zy'asia Hewings, Brianna Turner, Brandon Turner, with most all of them of Milwaukee. Kimberly also leaves behind many other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. There will be a Memorial Service for Kimberly Nadine Tomasetti on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at 12:00pm at Mother of Good Counsel Catholic Church (her favorite aunt Nancy’s Church for decades) located at 6924 W Lisbon Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53210, with interment at a later date.
