Mrs. LaTasha Flowers

LaTasha Ann Flowers was born on December 31, 1981 to the union of Debra A. Calmes and the late Richard L. Flowers in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She was the only child born to this union. She accepted Christ as her Savior at an early age. She received her formal education at Greendale High School in Greendale, Wisconsin. She furthered her education attending Alverno College and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. LaTasha was employed at Columbia St. Mary's Hospital for many years as a Nurse in the burn unit. She was a dedicated, empathetic and passionate Nurse and was loved by her patients. She took pride in her job and strived to do her best to help others. When she was not working she enjoyed traveling and spending time with family. LaTasha was united in holy matrimony to Darnell Lamont Ellis on August 19, 2015, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. To this union three children were born. To know Tasha is truly to love her. She was a beautiful individual and was kind to everyone she met. She always wore a smile and was willing to help anyone in need. She was truly a kind, caring, humble, loving person that had a heart of gold and loved her husband, children, family and friends. She was a remarkable young woman. Tasha will be truly missed and heaven has gained an angel to watch over us. LaTasha Ann Flowers departed this life on Friday, October 28, 2016. She was preceded in death by her father, Richard L. Flowers; grandfather, Earl Flowers, Sr.; uncle, Roy Flowers; and aunt, Loretta Flowers. She leaves to cherish her memory: her loving husband, Darnell Ellis; loving mother, Debra Calmes; mother-in-law, Debra Bryan; father-in-law, Amos Ellis; beautiful children, Dallas, Damir and Dakota of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; one sister, Clara, sister-in-law, Amber Ellis; two brothers, Ryan (Tammy) and Rashad, brother-in-law, Donta Ellis; grandparents, Frankie and Charles Calmes, and Charm Flowers of Milwaukee, WI; seven aunts, Mary Calmes, Charlene Calmes of Scottsdale, Arizona, Donetta Flowers, Janet Haslem, Janice Flowers, Carolyn Flowers and Debra Jean Banks (Nate); seven uncles, Larry Calmes of Little Rock, Arkansas, Jerry Calmes, Derrick Calmes (Niecy) of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Curtis Calmes (Michella) of Little Rock, Arkansas, Tracy Cook (Sharena), Earl Flowers, Jr. and Carlton Flowers; two nieces, Ryonna and Rynesha; one nephew, Ryan Jr. all of Milwaukee, WI; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and other loving relatives and friends.
