Mr. Lawrence Columbus Peller

L.C. Peeler, also known as Lawrence C. Peller, was born on August 25, 1940, to the union of Rose (Earl) Winters and Altee Peeler (Bill) in Kosciusko, Mississippi. He was the only child born to this union. Rose later married Earl Winters, and to that union. 10 children were born. Lawrence received his formal education and graduated from High School. Lawrence accepted Christ as his Savior at an early age and was united with Mount Cana Baptist Church in Kosciusko, MS. He later joined Greater Mt.Eagle Baptist Church in Racine, WI, where he served as deacon, and then Christ the King Baptist Church in Milwaukee, WI, where he served on the Timothy Ministry. On July 9, 1988, Lawrence Peller was united in holy matrimony with Rosemary (McGowan) Peller in Racine, WI. They were married for 36 years. Lawrence was previously married to Minnie (Wytch) Peller, and through that union, he had one child and five stepchildren. Lawrence was employed by Jerome I. Case as a lab technician for over 30 years. In his leisure, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, horseback riding, and music (Blues). He was Deputy Grandmaster for The Intemational Free and Accepted Modern Masons, Inc. (IFAMM). Lawrence C. Peller departed this life on July 10, 2024. He was preceded in death by his: mother, Rose (Earl) Winters; father, Altee Peeler (Bill); grandfather, Wade Austin; grandmother; Ellie Austin (nee: Simmons); Peeler sisters and brothers; Dorothy (Kate) M. Gregory (Charles), Louise (David) McGlothian, Angela Delores Winters, Marilyn D. Baldwin, and Merry Winters; brother, W.o. (Willie) Winters; stepson, Ronnie Wilks; grandchildren Maat Nut Smith, and Imhotep Heru Smith. He leaves to cherish his memory: faithful wife, Rosemary Peller; loving daughter, Nicole (Tony) Peller Smith; caring son, Kendall Lawrence Peller; stepsons, Garry Adams, Gerald Adams, and James (Terry) Wilks; stepdaughters, Debora (Guy) Taylor, Therese (Reso) Wilks, and Athena (Nette) Wilks, all of Milwaukee, WI; 3 sisters, Wyverna Anthony of San Antonio, TX, Gladys (Michael) Singleton, and Nora Michele Winters; brother, Dennis Winters; aunt Shelley (Willie) Ousley, and uncle Jesse (Betty) Austin; 6 grandchildren, Lawrence Peller, Isabella Peller, Titus Peller, Asar Smith, Aseheru Smith, and Asire-Ra Smith; 11 step-grandchildren; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
