Ms. Lillian Bonner

Lillian Bonner was born on May 14, 1949, to George Bonner and Mazie Rembert. She was the third of seven children and was raised in a close-knit family where love and connection were always present. Lillian attended Riverside High School alongside her younger brother Ronald, where she formed lasting friendships and cherished memories that stayed with her throughout her life. She built a dedicated and successful career as a professional machine operator, proudly serving for many years at Miller Brewing Company. Outside of work, Lillian was known for her impeccable sense of style and Jove for all things glamorous. Affectionately known as "Diamond Lil," she had a bold, unforgettable presence--when Lil entered a room, she was impossible to miss. She enjoyed dressing up, keeping up with celebrity news, watching daytime talk shows, and she never missed her favorite program, Dateline. At an early age, Lillian heard and accepted the gospel of Jesus Christ, a commitment that remained meaningful and guiding throughout her life. On December 31, 2025, she peacefully entered eternal rest, surrounded by love and upheld in prayer by her family. Lillian was preceded in death by her parents, George Bonner and Mazie Rembert; her aunts, Willie Mae Jones, Earlean Brown, and Rita Simmons; and her uncles, Billy, Bobby, Gary, Nathaniel, and Joseph Rembert. She leaves to cherish her loving memory her devoted daughter, Trina Rembert of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; three cherished granddaughters, Kiara (Charlie) Maxwell, Audreauna Rembert, and Kayla Allen, all of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; three precious great-grandchildren, Kiauna Michelle, Cameron Shawn, and Maliha Janelle, all of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; two sisters, Anita Spencer of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and Kimerly (Anthony) Hardrick of Covington, Georgia; four brothers, Gary (Betty) Rembert of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Ronald Bonner, Clarence Allen, and Edwin Allen, all of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; one aunt, Inez Rembert; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. Liillian's legacy lives on through the love she poured into her family, the joy she brought into every space she entered, and the memories that will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her. Though she will be deeply missed; we find comfort in knowing that her spirit, strength, and mistakable shine will continue to live on through generations. Her life was a blessing, her memory a treasure, and. she will be loved always.
