Mr. Lorenzo Parker

Lorenzo was born July 18, 1962 in Mobile, Alabama, to Hodge Parker Jr. and Etola Lawson. At the age of six he moved to Milwaukee, Wi where he eventually graduated from West Division High School. Lorenzo was lovingly called "Lo" by his family and close friends. Some of his community friends also referred to him as "Old G". He gave his life to Christ as a young man and begin his early life as a street evangelist. Lorenzo was a man of faith and loved to tell everybody he met about Jesus. He attended church at Rehoboth Church of God in Christ, where Elder Wallace was his spiritual cov- ering. Later he attended Christian Faith Fellowship Church under the leadership of Bishop Darrell and Pamela Hines. He worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant, a truck driver for Pepsi Company, and held varies maintenance positions. "Lo" made a great impact in his community and would often say "I am walking out ministry." He loved his family and taught his niece's and nephew's lifelong lessons. Many times, he would teach them how to protect themselves and gave metaphor to help build strong relationships. Also, he taught them how to play and love the game of basketball. His protective spirit of family and loved ones was well known by everyone. "Lo" was the life of the party and lived his life to the fullest. He had a very big heart and would give the shirt off his back to someone in need. He knew how to make a person smile and laugh when they were having a bad day. Lorenzo "Lo" leaves to cherish his loving memory his sons, Akeem Parker, Cedric Parker, Sisters, Rochelle Parker, Tondar Allen, Anya Nelson, Kimberly Nelson and his broth- ers, Michael Parker, Maurice Parker, Fred Bender, Neph- ew's, Dale (Tecia), Darnell, Chad, Jerome, MichaeIJr., Mau- rice Jr., Myles, and Marques. Niece's: Tiffany, Sherville, Rochelle, Lauryn, Ashley, Miya. Great Nephew's: Bolu, Michael, Michael III. Great Niece's Cheyenne, Sequoia, Mariah, Leana, Angel, Kalynn, Casey, Cortni Bree, Nola And Aria. Uncle Frankie, and uncle Charles. Auntie Juanita, Deborah And his spiritual God mother Joyce Tucker (aka mama T.). Best friends Kendrick Tyler, Reggie Butler and a host of cousins and friends. He also leaves to cherish his memory, his special friend Deborah. He was preceded in death by his Grandfather Hodges Parker Sr. Grandmother, Lucille Parker Grandfather Johnny Lawson, Grandmother Alice Lawson, Father, Hodges Parke~ Jr., Mother Etola Lawson, Auntie Vera and Wyoming.
