Mrs. Lula Bell Robinson

Mrs. Lula B. Robinson was born on July 10, 1945, one of four children, to the late Roosevelt and Rosie Nell Harris in Wisner Louisiana. Lula received her former education in Franklin Parish of Louisiana and graduated from Richwood High School in Monroe, Louisiana. She attended Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Lula accepted Christ at an early age, baptized at Old Macedonia Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend John Wesley. The Family moved to Monroe, Louisiana where they became members of China Grove Baptist Church. Upon her arrival to Milwaukee Lula and her family became affiliated with St. Gabriel Church of God In Christ under the leadership of the late Elder G.L. Shaw where she held a position on the finance committee. At the time ofLula's death she was a current member at Jabez Church of God In Christ under the leadership of Elder Christopher L. Tolbert where she also served on the finance committee and board of directors. Lula was employed with America International Group, Inc. (AIG) where she also retired. She enjoyed serving as the Chairperson for the Coalition of Title I Region V. In addition, she loved spending time with her grandkids and helping the community. Lula went home to be with the Lord on July 11, 2012 at St. Mary's Hospice in Mequon, Wisconsin. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Frazier Robinson Jr., her parents Rosie Nell, and Roosevelt Harris Sr., sister Zola Mae Harris and maternal grandparents Jesse and Rose Harris. She leaves to cherish her memories: her devoted children; two sons Rodney De Angelo Robinson of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Frazier Robinson III of Eaton Prairie, Minnesota; three daughters Marcella (Robert) Wilson and Veronica Lynette (Moses) Williams of Milwaukee Wisconsin, Ramona Lisa (Eric) Pittman of Covington, Georgia; special niece/daughter Olivia Renee (Kevin) Pike of New Orleans, Louisiana; seven grandchildren Latrice, Justin, A sante , Devonte', Ashante, Erica and Trimechia; two great grandchildren Faith and ElijJh; special niece/ grandchild Victoria. Lula also leaves to cherish her memories: one brother Roosevelt (Truly) Harris Jr. of Algiers, Louisiana; one sister Pastor Brenda (Lester) Bleach of Goose Creek, South Carolina; cousin/sister Elaine (Billy) Clay of Monroe, Louisiana; a host of loving relatives and many dear friends.
