Ms. Monique Nicole Bell-Key

Monique (Goober) Bell-Key was born on March 6, 1992, in M'ilwaukee, WI, to Catina Bell. She entered the world as a twin and was lovingly welcomed into the union of her parents, James Key and Robinetta Key. Raised with unconditional love and support, they cherished her deeply and guided her throughout life. As a child, Monique professed her faith in Christ and was baptized at Bethel Baptist Church. Throughout her life, she remained steadfast in her faith, trusting in God and His plan for her. Monique received her education through the Milwaukee Public School system, attending Montessori International Baccalaureate. She continued her studies at Milwaukee Career College, where she earned her Veterinary Technician certification, pursuing her passion for animal care. Monique dedicated almost 10 years of her career as a Veterinary Health Technician at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Her love for animals was evident in everything she did, and she dreamed of one day owning her own dog daycare center. Her passion and dedication will always be remembered. Monique was born with a heart condition, but she never let it define her or keep her from embracing life to the fullest. She faced every challenge with strength and a resilient spirit, finding joy in the moments that mattered most. Monique was blessed with two beautiful children, who were the light of her life. She cherished every moment with them, whether watching movies, spending time at the park, or enjoying their special "Target Dates." Known for her gentle and approachable nature, Monique always knew she was the favorite twin. But one thing was certain-she never played when it came to her twin sister, Domo. Their bond was unbreakable. She also had a playful sense of humor, Monique often joked but really lived a "boring" life, but she found joy in the simple things-listening to true crime podcasts and, on occasion, gathering with family and friends to sing and dance. On Thursday, March 20,2025, as her family surrounded her, our Heavenly Father sent an angel to Monique's bedside to graciously grant her everlasting rest. Monique leaves to cherish her memory: children, Ronnie and Raegan Caldwell; mother, Robinetta Key; father, James Earl Key; mom, Catina Bell; twin sister, Dominique; sisters: Shaneca, Jamie, Kyah, Jaime, and E'Shala; brothers, Damon (Donna), James, Jason, Tory, Danarious, and Deryan; grandfather, David Bell, Sr.; uncles, Ray Key, Eddie McKnight, Jr., and David Bell; aunts: Jessie Robinson, Cynthia Key, Beverly Key, Wanda Key, Juanita Soukouna, and Yolanda Bell; one great uncle, Wince Highshaw, Jr.; one great aunt, Mary Harris; special friends, Dejah Jackson, Jac' Quiz Kendrick, Shawna Coleman, Octavia Barron Shameka Reese, Keonta Brooks and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by: her Grandparents: Millie and James Key, Martha and Grady Reid, Veola Bell, and Eddie McKnight, Sr.; brother, DeLaRenta; aunts: Linda Key, Linda Bradley, Christella Wilson, and Jacqueline Key Gayden; uncles, Willie Garry and Curtis Robinson.
