Patricia Giles was born on December S, 1953, in Chicago, Illinois, to proud parents Celestie Smith and Columbus Giles. She graduated in 1971 from Leake Central High School in Carthage, Mississippi. During her school years, Patricia was very active, participating on the basketball team and proudly serving as a school band majorette. Later in life, Patricia met Clifton Tate, and their union brought together four children. She worked as an accountant at Tyson foods for a few years before returning to Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In her leisure lime, Patricia enjoyed watching westerns, sipping on a Pepsi, and indulging in Cheddar & Sour Cream Chips. A Life Well-Lived On the morning of February 20, 2026, Patricia Giles was called home by God to receive her angel wings. Known affectionately as Pat, Patty, or Trich, Patricia was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Her kindness and strength touched everyone who knew her. She passed away surrounded by love, leaving behind a legacy of compassion, resilience, and unwavering devotion to her family. Patricia lived life to the fullest, unapologetically. On weekends, she loved listening to blues, drinking beer, and staying up all night with friends whether partying or charting on the phone. However, Sundays were sacred; she was unreachable on those days. Patricia had a warm smile and a generous heart. She found joy in caring for others, whether through her comforting words, infectious laughter, or quiet acts of support. Her love was steady, and her support was unconditional. The memories she created will forever be treasured by those who were blessed to know her. A Legacy of Love , Patricia's life was a testament to strength, grace, and faith. Though she will he deeply missed, her spirit will live on in the hearts of her loved ones. Family and Loved Ones Patricia was proceeded in death by her mother Celestie Smith, her father Columbus Giles, her spouse Clifton Tate, her sister Gwendolyn Young, and her nephew Haji Giles. She leaves to cherish her memories. Her Children: Averian Giles, Adrienne Giles, Clifton Tate Jr., and Tanya Giles-Green (Adrian Green), all from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Brothers: Calvin Giles and Cornelius Giles. II Grand-children: Shekeria Jones-Giles, Tarnbraunna Reeves, Avcrian GilesJr., Aalivah Giles, Johnika Evans, Johnathan Evans jr., Arionna Evans, Brionna Tate,Jada Tate, Cy'iar Tate,Jakaris Giles, Ariene Giles, 7 Great-Grandchildren,3 Nieces: Roberta Giles, Amber Turner (Alonzo Tumel], and Tyra Giles. 2 Nephews: Dustin Giles and Justin Giles. A host of family and friends.
