Mr. Randolph Hicks

Randolph Hicks was born on April 4, 1948 in Birmingham, Alabama.He was the only son of Chavious and Annie Hicks who proceeded him in death, along with a younger sister Doris Christine who also proceeded him in death. Randolph was given the nickname "Bunky· by his great grandmother Annie Brown Bickerstaff when he was a small child. Bunky was greatly loved by all of his aunts and uncles. Randolph traveled & lived in many different states with his parents however. Chicago, IL & Milwaukee. WI are the states he called "Home" Bunky attended John Marshall High School in Chicago. IL & later in life moved to Milwaukee, WI with his parents, youngest sister & brother- in-law (Stephanie & Keith Common). Milwaukee, WI was the plaice where Randolph spent the remainder of his life. He attended the "Day 1 Program" through Community Care for decades. He made many friends & won over the hearts at the staff members with his loving personality. Randolph LOVED Co talk. He talked about everything from history to current events. He loved watching Western movies & if there was ever a "party" Bunky didn't mind dancing. Spending time with friends (Ted & Linda) was always a good time. What he loved most though was family. He absolutely adored his brother-in-law (Keith Common). They would laugh & crack jokes for hours. It also gave him pleasure to fuss with & entertain his baby sister (Stephanie Common) & his great great niece (Malayia McMillen), He often reminded his 2 youngest sisters that he was the big brother and not the other way around. On April 17, 2024. Randolph Hicks gave up the ghost. He passed away in the comfort of his own home & surrounded by what he adored most FAMILY. His laughter, his conversations & sense of humor will truly be missed. Randolph leaves to mourn his rnemories, Robin (lnolse) Robinson of Utica, Mississippi Stephanie (Kei1h) Common of Milwaukee, WI. Six aunts, Earnestine Davis, Gloria Bickerstaff, . Sally Braugher, Doris (Gregory) Gadberry, Wilma Jean Cummings & Martha Wade.One great uncle Benoit Hicks. One niece Evergrace. 4 nephews Tyrone (Trashonda), Gregory, Jason and. Edward. 14 great nieces & nephews & 1 great-great niece (lMalayia McMillen) & a host of cousins. relatives & friends.
