Mr. Raymond Robert Hunt Jr.

Raymond Robert Hunt, Jr. was born on January 6,1943 to the union of Raymond Robert Hunt and Katherine (Carrington) Hunt in Milwaukee, WI. Raymond received his formal education at Rufus King High School in Milwaukee, WI. Raymond accepted Christ at a young age and was a member of Parklawn Assembly of God. Raymond was united in holy matrimony with Denise (Manns) Hunt on June 28,1985 in Milwaukee, WI. For 50+ years he was employed with Envinrude Outboard Engines where he retired in 2000. Raymond enjoyed boxing, shopping on the Home Network Channel, being around family and friends and was known for being very popular. In his early years, Raymond was a business owner. He opened his first business in the 1980's a bar called, "Ray Hunt's Place" that was very successful. Raymond enjoyed fashion. He was known as one of the best dressed men in Milwaukee. Raymond's dapper style always stood out in the crowd with stylish designer suits and Dobbs hats. Raymond enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. On any day anybody could stop by his house to enjoy good food and a cold glass of wine. He had plenty of conversation for you. He was a great debater and he enjoyed running the dozens with his friends and family. He instilled in all of his family and friends that hard work is very important in order to have a successful life. He is remembered for always saying "if you don't work, you don't eat:' God called Raymond home on January 14, 2017. He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife Denise Hunt, three sons, Raymond Robert Hunt III, Mark (Yabonca) Hunt, Andra (Lowanda) Manns; four daughters, Candace Hunt, Danniel (Gerald) Pace, Bonnie-Gina (Robert) Williams, and Rachel (Luis) Vasquez; three sisters, Cheryl Hunt, Bonnie Jackson, and Renee Hunt; two brothers, Roual Hunt and Alex Hunt; Three brother in-laws, Donald (Karen) Manns, Willie Manns, and George Payton; four sister in-laws, Diane Taylor, Darlene Manns, Terry Manns and Brenetta (Gary) Van Epere: 19 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren with two on the way; very best friends/brothers Dallas Holifield, Bonnie Adams, Mitchell Harris and Grady Dotson; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Raymond was preceded in death by parents, Raymond and Katherine (Carrington) Hunt; son Todd Hunt; sister Terry Edwards; brother Mark Hunt; and a special niece Mineti Manns.
