Mr. Reginald Scott Green Sr.

Reginald Scott Green, Sr. was born on January 25,1957 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to the union of Perry and Margaret Green. After a courageous battle with cancer, Reginald went home to be with the Lord on Friday, May 1, 2015 surrounded by a host of loving family members. Reginald, affectionately known as Reggie, was educated in the Milwaukee Public Schools System and later completed his G.E.D. at Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC). He went on to receive Certification in Electronics at MATC. A jack of all trades, he was employed by Yellow Cab Company, Allen Bradley, Pabst Brewery, Patrick Cudahy and Rexnord/Envirex where he worked for 22 years before the company relocated. Thereafter, he started his own construction business as a master craftsman, creating superb living and business spaces. Reggie was united in Holy Matrimony to the love of his life, Sharon (Walker) Green on June 20, 1981 and to this union two sons were born, Perry Samuel Green, II (Monique) and Reginald Scott Green, Jr. He was elated to learn that he would become a grandfather in June 2015. He accepted Christ as a child during Vacation Bible School at Metropolitan Baptist Church where he was baptized. He later united with New Testament Church of Milwaukee where he served with the Prison Ministry, Cathedral Choir, Vacation Bible School, and Counting Team. In his leisure, Reggie enjoyed communicating, traveling and competing with friends near and far over the citizens band radio. He also found satisfaction in tinkering with cars and anything that may have needed fixing. An excellent cook, Reggie was known for his tasty chili, barbeque and cheesecakes. Reggie will always be remembered for his warm, caring and outgoing spirit. Reggie was preceded in death by his parents Perry and Margaret Green and sister LaVerne Green. He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife Sharon Green, children Perry (Monique) Green, II and Reginald Green, [r.; loving sisters Yvonne (Andrew) Hopgood, Valerie (Arthur) Lee, Anita (Samuel) Johnson, Rae Green, Shawn Green and Mary (Hoyt) Mahaley; Sisters-in-law, Debra Franklin, Andreanette (James) Ferguson, Ellisa Brantley and Christina (Stephen) Thomas; as well as a host of beloved nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
