Mr. Roy Fayne

Roy Dell Fayne was born on October 24, 1937 to the union of Richard L. Fayne and Pearlie (Green) Fayne in Brighton, Tennessee. At the young age of 16, Roy graduated from Frazier High School in Covington, Tennessee. Roy confessed Christ as his Savior at an early age at Mt. Tipton CM.E. Church in Brighton, TN, where he also served as a faithful member. After working over 35 years, Roy retired from the City of Milwaukee from the DPW-Fleets Department. He took a tremendous amount of pride in his hard work. On December 31, 1965, Roy united in holy matrimony with the love of his life, Savannah L. Jones. Together, they raised three beautiful daughters; Dorothy Green, Gale Bailey, and Janet Fayne. Roy enjoyed playing pool. As a well know pool player, he earned the nickname "Young Blood". He loved gardening and hosting cookouts while being in the company of his grandchildren. Roy also made road nips very interesting and full of memories as he planned vacations to see other relatives. During his relaxed time, you could catch him with his feet up and tuned into either basketball, football or golf. In the last few years of his life, he continued to persevere after the loss of his dear wife, Savannah. On Monday, June 8, 2020, providence granted Roy what life could no longer give; health and wholeness. Although his body could no longer serve him, still in faith, we affirm that God gave him eternal life. He was preceded in death by his parents; Richard and Pearlie Fayne; wife, Savannah Fayne; in-laws, Vernon and Emma Cullin; daughter, Gale Bailey; brothers, Jack Fayne, Earl Fayne, \Villiam Fayne, Richard Fayne, Alphonso Fayne, and Eugene Fayne; sisters; Nellie Sneed and Elease Mallory, and sister-in-law; Eunice Fayne Roy leaves to cherish many memory: daughters; Dorothy Green and Janet Fayne; brother, Levi Fayne; son-in-law, Jimmy Bailey; sister.in- laws; Lillian Kern, Bobbie Fayne, Archie Fayne, Rosalyn Fayne; 7 grandchildren; Tiffany (Dedric) Alexander, Romick (Carolyn) Spencer, James Bailey, Romell Green, Ramon Green, Brandon Martin and Romonte Green; J 1 great grandchildren, Daijanai Alexander, Tyler Jackson, Ceria Swan, Darnaria Green, Daijionna Alexander, Romick Spencer II, Rameria Spencer, Rasean Green, Raeh Green, Rian Green, and Zuri Martin; 2 great-great granddaughters; D'[or Franks and Amaya Jackson, many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
