Mrs. Ruth Sanders

Ruth Sanders was born on August 10, 1939, in Denmark, Tennessee, to Flossie and James Burt. Ruth accepted Christ at on early age and was baptized into the Baptist denomination in Jackson, TN, where she also received her education. After moving to Milwaukee, Wisconsin with her family, Ruth joined in holy matrimony with Mr. Charles Sanders Jr. To this union, four children were born; blended and combined they raised and cared for ten children. They even worked together for the State of Wisconsin, UWM Campus, for over a decode where the BOTH retired. You could not soy Ruth without saying Charles, nor soy Charles without saying Ruth. They hod such a very precious bond. Her dedication has ALWAYS been to her FAMILY. Immediate and extended, just like Jesus, Ruth was (Our Present HELP.) Her acts of kindness and selfless spirit, she was a HARDWORKER and a GIVER. Coined the home "Do Funny". Ruth hod a cheerful spirit, but she would also lean in and call a thing a thing. Talking on the phone with her nieces and nephews was one of her favorite things to do doily. So loving and joyful, even in her elder years ... her heart health began to decline after the passing of so many family members and friends. On Thursday, February 13, 2025, God called her home. Ruth passed away comfortably and peacefully with her oldest and youngest daughter providing her care for Pre-Volentine's Day. Preceding her in death was her: loving husband for over 50 years, Mr. Charles Sanders Jr.; son, Timothy Burt; grandson, Timothy (Hoyt) Burt; great grandson, Staveonte Brown parents, James and Flossie (Corter) Burt; four brothers, Roger, James, Climmie, and Thomas Corter; and two sisters, Carrie Burt and Julie Kendrick. Ruth was the youngest child of Flossie and James; her siblings passed away oldest to youngest according to age. She leaves to cherish her precious memory: children, Anthony, Karen, Vanessa, Allison, and Charles Sanders III, all of Milwaukee, WI; (16) sixteen grandchildren, Saundraette, Nikki, Antonio, Bobby, Terrell, Ericka, Vanessa, Timothy, Denzel, Shantierra, Charles, Lauryn Ashley, Elijah, Amya, Symone, and Charli; (34) great-grandchildren and (3) three great-great grandchildren. Ruth also leaves to cherish her precious memory, a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, Goddaughter, neighbors, former coworkers, and friends that will miss her dearly.
