Mr. Samuel Lee Smith

Samuel Lee Smith was born October 8th, 1952 to the union of Eddie Lee and Ethel Mae Smith in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Samuel Smith completed his formal education at North Division High School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Samuel Smith was raised Jehovah Witness and cherished this spiritual relationship. Samuel Lee Smith was united in holy matrimony with Denise Marcelle Mays on September 7th, 2020 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He was employed by Minor Steel & Prestige Auto as a Black Smith for many years. Samuel Smith was a family man. He loved hard, if he had it you had no matter if it was a million dollars or 20 cents. His home was your home, and everyone was safe and welcomed with open arms. Samuel was a good time whether he was throwing New Year's parties or just sharing his last piece' of liver cheese .. In his leisure, he enjoyed card games, storytelling, barbeques, driving Cadillac's, and shopping for jewelry, His preference was diamonds. Samuel would have a stiff drink in hand with a cheers to the good life with all his family and friends. He will be deeply missed. On the morning of Sunday, September 27th, 2020 Samuel finalized his time in this world before he went to rest in God's promise. He was preceded in death by his father, Eddie Lee Smith, and his sister Chriselle Smith. He leaves to cherish his memories: His wife Denise Marcelle Mays-Smith, his son Samuel Lee Sims, daughter Brandy S. Thomas (David Amos), Honorary children, Denise Allen, Jermaine Thomas, Avanittia Thomas, James Thomas, Dominique Fisher, Asundeaira Samantha Myka Gandy (whom he cherished and raised as his own daughter). Grandchildren: Shanice Sims, Enchantra Sims, Serrania Sims, Jada Johnson, Johnny Westin, Darius Sims, Deandre Allen, Terah Mays, Latyra Mays, Aviontae Mays. His mother Ethel M. Smith, his brothers, Michael Lee Smith, Edward Lee Smith, his sisters, Patricia (Jeff) Shane, Sharon Medina, Rose Marie Smith, Susan Smith, Mamie Smith, Gloria (Thomas) Oglesby, Sheila (Mehrdad) Novin all of Milwaukee, Special Niece and Nephew Victoria Kidd and Ian Powell, as well as a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
