Mrs. Sandra Lynn Bunde

SANDRA LYNN BUNDE (HAYES) Loving mother, grandmother, wife, sister, and friend to many; Sandra (Sandy), at 56 years of age, passed away in the early hours of Saturday, March 18,2023, at Froedtert Hospital of Wisconsin. She was preceded in death by her father, Alvin, and mother, Lucille. Sandy was born November 4, 1966, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Alvin and Lucille Hayes. She was the youngest of nine children, six brothers and two sisters. She went back to school in 2010 to earn her GED after being a stay at home mom of her three daughters for many years and taking care of her mother until she passed in 2005. Motherhood began for Sandy in 1993 with her first child, Brianna. Not too long after, she started dating Mark and gave birth to Alyssa in 1999. Sandy and Mark were married April 9, 2001, and moved into their first home before Erika was born in August of 2002. Their family was complete with their three girls on 105th street, where they lived for 16 years together. There was never a dull moment when being in Sandy's company. She always had a smile that would brighten someone' s day; I know she brightened her granddaughters' days especially. "Lovely Day" by Bill Withers was their song. Turn on any genre of music, she would always sing and dance. Her humorist personality always made people laugh and feel comfortable; some may say, "Sandy was the life of the party!" We miss her so much. Sandy loved to soak up the sun, go for a swim, and she enjoyed being outside barbecuing. Spending time with her family and friends meant a lot to her because she knew this life has an expiration date for us all. She was always taking pictures and capturing the best memories that'll be cherished for a lifetime. In her free time, she enjoyed watching movies, spending time at the lake, cooking, and eating fruit with her grand babies; blueberries and strawberries were their favorites. Sandy began to work at the age of 15. She worked many jobs from jewelry shops to dry cleaners to liquor stores. She took a break from work to be a stay-at-home mom. She returned to work as a home health aide and continued this occupation, caring and changing the lives of loved ones and entrusted families until 2018. In our hearts, memories linger sweetly, tender, fond, and true. There's not a day we don't think of Sandy. She is at rest now, free of any pain. She leaves to cherish her memory: husband, Mark Bunde: three daughters, Brianna, Alyssa, and Erika; two granddaughters, Alaiah and Eva; all eight siblings; and many lifelong friends. Love forever & always, her five girls, Brianna, Alyssa, Erika, Alaiah, and Eva.
