Mr. Tyrone Carlos Nevels Sr.

Tyrone Carlos Nevels Sr, also known as "Tony," was born February 2,1942, to the union of Joseph and Rose Nevels of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Tony received his formal education at Grandville Highschool. He accepted Christ as his savior at an early age and was unified with St. Benedict Catholic Church. On July 1, 1961, Tony married the love of his life, Mary Ell Mosley, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Tony was blessed with five children. A landscaper by trade, Tony worked alongside his brother Joe. He later ventured out and established his own company, Unique Landscaping and Design. As a successful business owner Tony took immense pride in his work completing jobs throughout Milwaukee and surrounding counties. He also did jobs out of state to include Alamogordo, New Mexico, and Atlanta, Georgia. Tony had an exceptional work ethic; he perfected his skills and knowledge to pass down to his sons and grandsons. In his early years, you could find Tony up North snowmobiling, taking road trips, going to a NASCAR race, or a local racetrack. Some of his many hobbies were building cars and going to car shows. Tony also had a passion for model railroading. He enjoyed traveling with his wife, Mary, and always looked forward to their next vacation. Known for hosting great parties, Tony loved to entertain and opened his home to many throughout the years. Tony Nevels went home to be with His Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on October 31st, 2024, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin with his family by his side. He was proceeded in death by his parents Joseph and Rose Nevels, his brothers George, Donald, Eugene, James (known as Cornell), Joseph, and his sisters Ophelia (known as Polly), Nellie, Juanita, and Lawanda, and by his daughter Tonia. He leaves to cherish his memory; his wife Mary Ell Nevels, children; Kimberly Harris- Redmond (James) of Racine, WI, Tyrone Nevels Jr. (Wendy) of Richfield WI, Torrance Nevels Sr. of Milwaukee, WI, and Tosha Nevels-Fleming (Michael) of Milwaukee, WI. Grandchildren; Mechelle Joy Malone, Torrance Nevels Jr (Alissa), Joshua Nevels (Kristyn), Fatima Tannhaeuser (Chase), Nigel Fleming, and Jada Fleming. Great Grandchildren; Gabrielle, Brooklyn, Gianna, Enzo, and Kameron. Tony also leaves behind many special friends, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family members. Tony's legacy is one of love, labor, and dedication. He touched many lives with his sense of humor, his outstanding work ethic, and the love he had for his family. His memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have known him. His life was a testament to the power of love, the importance of family, and the impact one person can have on the lives of others.
