Mr. Vincent Clinton Bevenue III

Vincent Clinton Bevenue 111- a mentor to many, and a friend to all- died September 28,2019. He was 41, born April 23, 1978 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to the late Vincent Clinton Bevenue, Jr. and Ruth Ann Williams-Bevenue. Vincent was kind; he was generous, and he was selfless. At the age of 12, he accepted Jesus Christ and was baptized at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church by the RevereMd Louis E. Sibley III. A skilled percussionist he served in the church's Youth and Music ministries. He developeda fife-long passion for music while singing and playing the drums for Mt. Zion's Inspirational and Gospel Choirs, the Mt Lebanon Dlltlm and Bugle Corps and various community events. Vincent received his formal education in the Milwaukee Public School System, attending Hampton Elementary, Steuben Middle School and Riverside University High School. He was a natural athlete who excelled in both football and basketball. His junior and senior years, he was captain of the football team at Riverside" and proudly played the bass and snare drums in his high school marching band and Jazz band. He was an engaged community member, participating in various orqanizatlons focused on academics and arts including Boy Scouts of America, the African-American Children's Theater and the National Sorority of Phi Delta Kappa - Xinos and Kudos. Vincent attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison. One year into his studies, he returned to Milwaukee and held positions with Milwaukee Public Schools and social service organizations for youth and adults. For nearly ten years, heworked for Security Personnel, Inc., and became Loss Preventlon Supervisor. Vincent was happiest listening to music, going to concerts and traveling with friends and family. Eating his mothers corned beef and cabbage was his heaven on earth. He will be remembered for his infectious laugh, teasing jokes, wildly entertaining stories, unfailing work ethic, generous smile and willingness to stop what he was doing at any time to help a friend, family member or neighbor in need. His memory will be kept alive by his adoring children Vincent Clinton IV and Aniyah Ruth Ann Bevenue. He will be deeply missed by his younger siblings, Marlita Annette Bevenue (Ceotrid Gilbert) and MarquesTheophilus Bevenue. His two nieces, Raziyah and Aubrey Anna Bevenue, and one nephew Preston Bevenue, will remember all the fun they had hanging out with their, beloved uncle. He was cherished by his aunts, Lolita Bevenue, Yvette Watkins (Robert) and Marcella Williams. His many cousins respected and confided in him. Vincent was everyone's friend, and had the ability to reach people in a deep and positive way. Friends and colleagues called him "Big Vi nee'; but to his loved ones he was known as "Buki" VINCENT CLINTON BEVENUE III We cherish the time we had you with us, You never let us down. You will always hold a significant role in our family. Our earthly bodies are planted in the ground when we die, butthey wi/l be raised to live ForeveF.
