Mrs. Virginia Ann Woods

"To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the Heaven" Ecclesiastes 3: I A Time to Be Born Virginia Broxton was born on January 04, 1934 in Steubenville, OH to the union of Gregory and Willie Mae Broxton. Her parents provided her with the nurturing and guidance to withstand life's challenges. A Time to Plant Virginia accepted Christ as her personal Lord and Savior at a early age and was united with Lincoln Park Lutheran; where she served faithfully as apart of the hospitality commitee. She received her formal education in Milwaukee, WI; lastly anending Lincoln High School. She was gainfully employed for 25 years by Columbia Hospital as a Certified Nursing Assistant. A Time to Love In 1953 Virginia Broxton was united in holy matrimony with Willie E. Buford Sr; their union was blessed with three breautiful children later in life VIrginia was blessed to have married for the second time to Wilbert Dean Woods on November 23, 1973 in Milwaukee, WI; their union was also blessed with three beautiful children. She was outgoing, enjoyed traveling, sbopping, playing bingo and spending time with her family. A Time to Laugh Virginia enjoyed life to the fullest, she was warm, kind and loving. She was an awesome wife, mother, grandmother and friend A Time to Sleep Life should be measured not by the number of years, but rather by the love shared, tlle memories made, the joy given and the blessings received. On February 07, 2017 God in His infinite wisdom transitioned Virginia from her earthly home to her eternal home. She will be truly missed by all whom lives she touched. A Time to Weep Virginia leaves to cherish her precious memories daughters Karen Y. Scott, Tara Woods, Deanea (Wayne) Glenn; sons Devin (Sherry) Buford Sr., Todd Woods; grandchildren Joy Scott, Jamar Scott, Danielle Buford, Devin Buford Jr, Sharee Lee, Nico Lee, Sydnee Woods, Damon Glenn, Jazmine Glenn, Tara Glenn, Dwayne Buford, Amber Buford, Willie Buford Jr., Kelton Buford, Arye Buford, Tasha Black, Bobby Black, Shelby Black, Corey Black, a host of great-grandchildren, cousins, relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Wilbert Dean Woods; son Willie Earl Buford Jr.; mother Willie Mae Broxton and brother Benjamin "Sonny" Broxton. Let us reflect on the good times we had with Virginia Knowing that she will lIlways he near and dear to our hearts.
