Mr. Walter Green III

Walter Green III of Chesapeake, VA was called home on Friday September 23,2016. Walter was born on January 2, 1971. He was the only son to the union of Linda Green and Walter Green Jr. in Milwaukee, WI. His parents provided him with the nurturance to withstand life challenges. Walter received his formal education at Marshall High School, Milwaukee,WI. While in school he worked at numerous Hospitals and Nursing homes in the Milwaukee area and was Certified as a Nursing Assistant. With strong ambitions to excel and further his career, Walter relocated to Chesapeake, VA. to pursue additional education at E.C.P.I. College ofTeclmology Medical Careers Institute, School of Health Science in Virginia Beach, VA where he obtained his LPN Associate Degree. He also received the highest honor in his graduating class of December 2009, which was the "Star Award." He recently had planned to pursue his RN Associate Degree. Walter was also a candidate for the pinning ceremony for the Nursing Association. He was an active member with the Nursing Alumni Organization. He was currently employed with Davita in Virginia. In his leisure he enjoyed praising the Lord and listening to Gospel music. He also enjoyed spending precious time with family, friends, associates, colleagues, and his patients. Walter was a "Social Butterfly." He had a sense of humor like no other. He was very caring and wore his heart on his sleeve, but he would let you have it if he felt you needed it. An honest, faithful and God fearing man. To have known him was to love him. Walter Green III accepted Christ at an early age, and was an active member of The Church of God in Christ (C.O.G.I.C) of Milwaukee, WI. He participated in Sunday school, served as an nsher, sung in the choir, and attended Conventions & Fellowship revivals with his grandmother Willie Mae Green. Once relocating to Virginia, Walter became an active member of New Jerusalem Church of God & Christian, Virginia Beach, VA. Walter Green III was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents A.L. and Virginia Harris, eldest sister Lisa Green, nephew De'Andre Green, and uncle Bruce Green. He leaves to cherish his memory, (Faternal Grandparents)Walter Green Sr and Willie Mae Green (Parents) Linda Green and Walter Green Jr (Siblings) Tara Green and Joyalyn Green, (Mentor/Special Friend) Dr. Jimmy Peterson (Friend) Brandon Morgan, a host of nephews, nieces, great nephews, great nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
