Mrs. Zearline Carol Zolicoffer

Zearline Carol McMillon also known as Bootsie was born on November 6th, 1940 to the union of Florine and Willie McMillon. Bootsie received her formal education in the Milwaukee Public and Parochial School System in Milwaukee, WI. Zeraline McMillon formed her union with Welton (PeeWee) Zolicoffer in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Zeraline (Bootsie) Zolicoffer worked at Boston Store in downtown Milwaukee for many years before retiring to care for her parents and grandparents full time. She had an amazing heart and dedicated her entire life to caring for others. Zeraline had a passion for cooking, singing, dancing and being with her family. She also loved to watch old movies and tv shows like "Murder She Wrote". Her sense of humor and laughter brought joy and happiness to so many people who knew her lovely spirit. Zeraline found peace on December 20th, 2018. She was preceded in death by her parents Willie and Florine McMillon as well as her grandparents Jack and Zula McMillon. To know Bootsie was to love her, she had a smile that could light up a room. Her smile, laughter and energy was contagious to whomever she encountered; she was full of life. She was the epitome of a loving mother, grandmother and family member. Bootsie was a phenomenal woman. She was firm, but caring; head strong, but considerate. Bootsie possessed a loving, nurturing and kind spirit. She always provided a listening ear and sound advice, when needed, to those she loved. She leaves so many who loved her dearly to cherish her amazing spirt and memory: Grandchildren: Harpreet Singh-Gill, William (Scooter) Zollicoffer, Kahlia Smith, Christopher Smith and Aryton Zolicoffer. Children: Chaaron Mixon Singh-Gill, Welton (Billy) Zollicoffer and Trent Zolicoffer. Sisters: Edwina (John) Bost, Wanda (Tyrone) Williams and Michelle Hickman. Great aunts: Mattie Sue Dunlap and Ethel Dunlap, Cousins: Laverne Dunlap, Sel Dunlap, late Juanita Smith Dunlap, late Willie A. (Pearl) Davis Sr., Raymond Washington and Carrington Family. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and great grandchildren. The memory of Zeraline (Boostie) Zolicoffer will forever be cherished and missed by all those whose lives she touched with her sense of humor, laughter and love for life. She is further survived by a host of other loving relatives and dear friends.
