Betty L. Daniels was born on March 18, 1959, to the union of Rev. Edward and Hattie Pearl Daniels in Crossett, Arkansas. Betty received her formal education at Pulaski High School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Betty accepted Christ as her Savior at a young age. She was united with St. James Missionary Baptist Church under Rev. Humphrey's where she served as a Sunday school teacher. Betty L. Daniels united in holy matrimony with Willie Burt in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Their union was blessed with one child. In her leisure, she enjoyed showering her daughter Tameka with love. Her family and close friends affectionately called her "Cookie". She enjoyed listening to Gospel music, dancing, watching The Bachelor; The Bachelorette and Family Feud. Cookie loved fashion, specifically her shoes. She loved her high heels! Cookie really enjoyed helping people and spending time with her family and close friends. She was present for many of her nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews sports games, graduations, plays, school musicals and family gatherings. Her laugh was was infectious and was usually accompanied by tears streaming down her face. cookie was many times, the life of the party. cookie always greeted her family with that beautiful smile and a warm hugs ... as she would say "come here and let me beat ya back!" Betty cookie. Burt was truly one of a kind, she loved her daughter, her family and friends and she was loved immensely! Betty L. Burt departed this life on July 24, 2022. She was preceded in death by: her husband, Willie Burt; and parents, Rev. Edward Daniels and Hattie Pearl Daniels. She leaves to cherish her memory: loving daughter; Tameka; loving siblings, Shirley Davis, Robert Daniels, Charles (Villey) Daniels, Johnny (Jean) Daniels, Sandra Johnson, Samuel (Mable) Daniels of Crawford, MS, Allyn Daniels, and Tamra Daniels; aunt, Genevea Starling; special friends, Geraldine and Shawnda of Chicago, IL, and Roy of Milwaukee, WI.
