January 28, 1961 - December 17, 2021
LARRY TYLER was born on January 28, 1961, to the union of Clem and Lue Willie Tyler. The youngest of 8 children, he was raised in a family of God -loving people who believed in righteousness. Larry received his formal education in the Milwaukee Public School System. Larry was a very loving, intelligent and funny person, and you couldn't get much passed him, although he suffered with emotional and behavioral health issues. Larry was smart and could converse with you on many topics. He loved to dress sharp and always wanted to look his best. He loved his community and had many friends that he remained in contact with from his childhood. Larry also loved to sing and dance. He would change the words to some of his favorite songs and make us laugh. He had a big hearty laugh that was infectious to others all around him. He had a special love for his nieces and nephews, often giving them their nickname. One of the funniest nicknames he gave was to his great niece, Little Cynthia, calling her "Little Poonah" He will truly be missed by so many in his family and the community. He leaves to cherish in memory two sisters, Lorraine Tyler and Diane Tyler. One brother Arthur Tyler and one stepbrother, Jameel Rasheed-Tyler. He leaves five aunts: Rosilie Hortman, Ethel McCroy, Francis Johnson- Howell, Lola Neely and Mozella Wilkes all of Milwaukee, WI. One uncle Reuben Sneed of California and a host of other family members and friends.
