Mrs. Lillian Theresa Miller

Lillian Howard Miller was born on June 5, 1930 to the union of Irvin Howard and Otealia Johnson Howard in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Lillian Miller received her formal education in the Milwaukee Public School Systems, attending 9th Street School and Lincoln High School. Lillian accepted Christ at an early age at Rehoboth Church of God in Christ under the pastorship of the late Rev. Virdell Wallace. Lillian later became a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church and Community Baptist Church before uniting with Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church until her health failed. On April 26, 1957, she married Warner Brown Miller of Milwaukee, Wisconsin in Los Angeles, California. To this union, a blended family was created. Lillian was self-employed working with Warner in the real estate business owning several properties across the City of Milwaukee. In 1973, Lillian started working for H&R Block as a professional Tax Preparer. She was brilliant and understood the federal and state tax codes servicing customers throughout the city and suburban areas of Milwaukee. Lillian completed returns manually, never making a mistake. Lillian also worked as a Paralegal. Lillian Howard Miller departed this life on November 25, 2016. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Warner Brown Miller; parents, Irvin and Otelia Howard; daughter, Cynthia Crump; sons, Marion "Butch" Miller and Anthony "Tony" Miller; sisters, Algenon Kendrick, Elizabeth (Betty Boop) Zacher, Annie Johnson, Marion Howard, Laverne Manns and Carolyn Harmon; brothers, Irvin, Charles and Lyons (Sonny) Howard; sister-in-law's, Leaner Riggins, Bessie Reasby, and Virginia Thomas; and brother-in-law's, Jessie Miller Jr. and Fred Douglas Miller. She leaves to cherish her memory: daughters, Sheila (Robert Sr.) Jones and Karen (Terry) Cleveland; sons, William Miller and Randy Miller; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Joan Staples; brother, James Howard; sister-in-law's, Mary Jim (james) Gore, Genevieve Fitzgerald, Alvinia Cooper, Ernestine Miller, Naomi Miller and Connie Miller; brother-in-law's, Richard Miller, Rev. LeeRoy (Dorothy) Miller, Toussaint Reasby (Nephew); a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
