Mr. Mannix Franklin Jr.

June 6, 1995 - September 12, 2016

Mannix Franklin, Jr. was born on June 6, 1995 to the union of Mannix Franklin Senior and Marnice Franklin in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He received his formal education at James Madison High School. Mannix was loving and kind. He had so much compassion for people at an early age. He was funny, and even at your darkest hours he could make you smile. He was a Mama's boy. After the death of his father, he vowed to protect his mother and sisters. Mannix was a talented dancer and writer. He wrote multiple rap songs trying to excel his talent into a profession. Just within weeks of his death he started writing gospel and wanted to collaborate with his mother to start performing in the church. Mannix was born into Ressurection Life Church Ministries, where he accepted Christ as his Savior at an early age. He was employed at McDonald's as a cook for a few years. In his leisure, he enjoyed working, dancing, rapping, writing and recording songs, being with his family, playing with his nieces and nephews, and for that matter all young kids because they looked up to him. Mannix loved kids and couldn't wait for his son to be born. He was also good with his hands and could fix anything. His favorite foods were tilapia, cup of noodles, funyuns chips, and honey buns. Mannix Franklin, Jr. departed this life on September 12, 2016. He was preceded in death by his father, Mannix Franklin, Sr., grandmothers, Ophelia Shaw and Elizabeth Franklin; and grandfather, Isaac Franklin. He leaves to cherish his memory: his mother, Marnice Franklin; fiance and son, Ashley Herd and Mannix Franklin III; sisters, Ophelia (Reginald) Boggan, Rubiona Shaw and Latanza Franklin; nieces and nephews, La'Niyah, Ja'Marri, Zacarias, and Liliana; grandfather, Monroe Shaw; uncles, Mark (Tammy), David Shaw, Maurice (Sarah) and Donald (Betty) Franklin; aunts, Mary Shaw, Elaine Spencer, Michelle Mirhoseini, Alice Buckner, Geraldine (Willie) Thompson and Mary (Darryl) Franklin- Brown; favorite cousins, Marvelle Shaw and Dontarrion Brown; special cousins, Tiffany, Olivia, Marissa, and De'Rhaya, godfathers, RJ Ferguson, and Dale Earnest; favorite godsister, Ashlee Bishop; godsisters, Brandi Cole, Mychelle Hughlett, and Promise Bennett; the Earnest Family and a host of family and friends.
