Mrs. Robbin Perkins-Oby

December 13, 1960 - February 8, 2022

Robbin Denise Perkins-Oby made her debut to the world Tuesday, December 13, 1960, to the union of Willie Perkins, Sr. and Carla E. (nee Tatum) Perkins in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Growing up, she received her formal education through Milwaukee Public Schools and later received higher learning at Milwaukee Area Technical College. Appropriately named, Robbin was a free-spirit who could not sit still and truly enjoyed living life to the fullest! Her vivacious and colorful nature added an extra spark wherever she went, and her larger than life heart gave comfort to those who needed it. Her life wasn't orthodox nor easy, but was a dynamic one strengthened through the ebbs and flows of all her experiences. At a very early age, Robbin was introduced to Christ, but grew more in knowledge of His Love and principles as she matured in age. One of her passions was to serve others whose journeys paralleled her own, so she recently founded Woman at the Well to fulfill that calling. As a true woman of God, she served faithfully in ministry for many years. This included, but was not limited to weekly bible studies with the women she served and her nieces, teaching and training her grandchildren how to care for others and be the best versions of themselves, and giving whatever she could to those who needed the extra care. Strong like a diamond, her tenacious spirit allowed her to truly realize what it was to live, learn, and love. Amongst many things she enjoyed, she found immense joy spending time with family and friends. Her bright smile, contagious laugh, and witty jokes were everything; she was truly the life of the party! One of her recent and happiest moments of Robbin's life is when she and Bobby J. Oby were united in holy matrimony November 28,2021. The love and friendship they shared is one to be cherished. Our delicate Robbin peacefully departed this life on Tuesday, February 8, 2022. She will be sorely missed by those she left with an indelible mark, and forever loved by those she leaves with her memories. She was preceded in death by her father, Willie Perkins, Sr.; and brothers, Willie Jr. and David Perkins. In addition to her husband Bobby, she leaves behind her loving mother, Carla E. Perkins; brother, Derrick Perkins; sister, Rhonda (Gerald) Mack; three sons, Kendrek Hayden, Kevin (Sarah) Hayden, and Kyle (Dionna) Hayden; eight grandchildren, Kayla, Kyla, Devin, Kristian, Santana, Rylee', King and Kyven; one great-grandson Gianni; bonus daughter, Natalie Hayden; honorary children and grandchildren; and a host of nieces nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
