Mrs. Angela Nada McDuffie

Angela Nada Cannon McDuHle was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on December 31, 1960 to the union of John Wesley and Rosetta Cannon. She was a priceless jewel, the oldest child of four children. Angela received her formal education in the Milwaukee Public School System and was a graduate of Custer High School. She furthered her education at the Uniyersity of Wisconsin; Milwaukee and Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee . Angela met the love of her life, Warren K. McDuffie and on November 8,1980 they were united in Holy Matrimony. They enjoyed over thirty four years of marital bliss and their union was blessed with three beautiful children, Warren Jr., Antoine and Kristin. Angela accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at the age of six at Metropolitan Missionary Baptist Church. Her commitment to the vision of the leaders of Metropolitan Missionary Baptist Church was evident in her over forty nine years of dedicated service. She epitomized the virtuous woman in her great strength of character. She lived a life that personified Christ. Angela was involved in the EMK Mission Circle, State Youth Department (Children's Department Program Coordinator), Supervisor of Junior Red Circle, Founding Member of Women's Group, Children and Youth Council, Sunday School Teacher, Church Youth Choir, Church Inspirational Choir, National Black Marriage Day Council, Accredited Teacher for Child Evangelist Fellowship, Vacation Bible School, Former President of General Mission Society, and many other auxiliaries. "Well done thy Good and Faithful Servant"! In her leisure Angela enjoyed teaching children about Christ, helping people plan and coordinate various types of events, working on craft projects, traveling and shopping. Life should be measured not by the number of years, but rather by the love shared, the memories made, the joy given and the blessings received. Angela's life was full and her friends were many. One of her greatest joys was spending quality time with her family and friends. She loved her family and adored her grandchildren. Her legacy shall live on in her family and all whose lives she touched. On March 1, 2015 God in His infinite wisdom dispatched His Angels to carry Angela to her Heavenly Home. She leaves to cherish her precious memories, her loving and devoted husband, Warren K.McDuffie, Sr.; loving children, Warren K. (Ebony) McDuffie, Jr., Antoine (Jade) McDuffie, and Kristin (Abrian) Chambliss; parents, John.and Rosetta Cannon; brother, Justin (Renee) Cannon; sister, Tabitha (Anthony) Ansley; grandchildren, Kyla McDuffie, Madison McDuffie, and Christian McDuffie; father and mother in-law, Lennis and Dorothy McDuffie; brother in laws, Patrick (Laney) McDuffie, Lemus (Indiana) McDuffie and Marcus Roberts; sister in-laws, Mildred (Charlie) Simmons, Cynthia Robinson, Sandra McDuffie, Valerie (Larry) Dickey, Cheryl McDutTie and Michele (Calvin) Howard; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, Godchildren, Metropolitan MBC Family, and friends . She was preceded in death by her sister, UrsulaT. Cannon Roberts; grandparents, J.C Cannon, RhodaCannon and C.D. Mims, Sr; Godparents, Howard and Mattie Dickinson.
