Mrs. Bernice Adams

MOTHER BERNICE ADAMS was born on March 28th, 1940 to the union of Sam Henderson and Martha Henderson. Mother Bernice Adams received her formal education at MERRILL HIGH SCHOOL in the Pine Bluff, Arkansas Public School System. Mother Bernice Adams accepted Christ as her Savior at age 25. In January of 1966, She united with the SAINT PAUL CHURCH OF GOD IN CHRIST of Milwaukee, Wisconsin under the leadership of Superintendent William Hudson. Mother Adams served faithfully as Usher Board President for over 40 years. In 2016, she was elevated to Church Mother by Pastor, Superintendent Walter L. Fields, Jr. Mother Adams never left her post as Saint Paul's Usher Board President and her membership spanned some 53 years. Mother Bernice Adams was united in Holy Matrimony with EDGAR ADAMS on December 17th, 1955 in Waukegan, Illinois. Their union was blessed with 8 children. Mother served as a home maker until 1965, going on to become a a certified nursing assistant at Marina View for 21 years. In 1996, Mother Adams became the sole proprietor of GOD'S LITTLE CHILDREN DAY CARE CENTER until July 24th, 2015. In her leisure time she enjoyed spending time with her entire family; attending church, reading the bible nightly, visiting the sick and serving the Lord in any capacity. Mother Bernice Adams responded to the Lord's call home to be rewarded with her Crown of Glory on MONDAY, OCTOBER 7TH, 2019. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Adams; son, Edward Adams; daughter, Debora Adams; grandson, De'Na Bostick; three sisters and three brothers. Mother Bernice Adams leaves to cherish her legacy of loving kindness: her beloved children: Johnnie Adams, Dorothy Adams, Alice Adams, Sondra (Rick) Adams-Barnett, Vincent (Valecia) Adams and Marcus (Sheila) Adams; adored Grand Children: Tasha, Rashaad, Romand, Shanell, Eboni, M., Carmen, Chazlynn, Sierra, Vincent II, Zaire, Rontaye, Sharonda, Chezmer, Ch'mar, Le'Jon, treasured great grandchildren: India, Kayana, Ianna, Rashaad II, De'Nasia, Jakari, Asjahnii, Jahaani, Kian, Cor'nelius, Mia, Kayla, De'Na, Jr., Mahala, Kensley, Braylen, A'miya, Khalani, Khalli; dear twin Siblings: Johnnie Mae Henderson and Johnnie Lee (Naomi) Henderson as well as a host of loving nieces, nephews, extended family and friends, including Special Friends of over 30 years: Mother Patricia Adkins and Sister Emma DeBerry.
