Mrs. Carlethia Ingram

Carlethia ·(Coleman) Ingram was born on April 13, 1945 to the union of the late Dorris and Lizzette (Webb) Coleman in Kingsland, Arkansas. Carlethia, affectionately known as "Letha," was the baby girl and eighth of nine siblings. Carlethia accepted Christ as her Savior at an early age and was united with Cannon Baptist Church. She was most recently reunited with Greater Galilee Missionary Baptist Church, where she served on the Hospitality Committee. Carlethia received her formal education at Rufus King High School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She was crowned "Miss Northside" in 1961 and graduated in 1963. On June 29, 1985, Carlethia was united in holy matrimony with Thomas M. Ingram in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Their union was blessed with a blended family including Carlethia's daughter and Mike's three sons and three daughters. Carlethia was employed at Astronautics Corporation of America when she formally retired. She had previously spent 36 years at Eaton Corporation, where she worked in a variety of business administration roles. Outside work, Carlethia enjoyed bowling, gardening, cooking, and socializing with her family and friends. She often entertained in her home and backyard. She was a great hostess and bartender with an infectious smile. She was sharp and classy, yet down-to-earth, and the life of the party. Carlethia departed this life on Saturday, February 2,2019. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Ingram; parents, Dorris and Lizzette Webb; brothers, Troy Coleman and Booker Coleman; and sister, Cassie Dunn. She leaves to cherish her memory daughters, Nicole Anderson of Glendale, Wisconsin and Marcina (Cedric) Hyman of Fresno, Texas; sons, Samuel Blakely and Michael Blakely of Rockford, Illinois; son- in-law, Dennis Jones of Hermitage, Arkansas; step-son, Roderick Smith of Las Vegas, Nevada; brothers, Dorris "Billy" (Margarita) Coleman of San Antoritio, Texas; Charles Coleman of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; and Reese Coleman of Las Vegas, Nevada; sisters, Mabel Lacey of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Lucille Hilmes of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; sister-in-law, A.F. Jacquelyn Coleman of Brookfield, Wisconsin; god-children, Vincent "VT" Allen of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Patrick E. Shirley of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and Grey Foreman of Jacksonville, Arkansas; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many other family members and friends.
