Mr. Charles Hudson

In loving Memory of Charles Hudson Charles was born September 18, 1961, in Milwaukee, WI. He was the youngest son born to the late Mr. LT and Ophelia Hudson of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Prior to meeting his life-long partner he was blessed with his first-born child, son, Ted Watson. At the age of 20, Charles met Phyllis McCullough and they continued sharing their life together and through that partnership the formation of two beautiful daughters emerged, TaMeesha and Asia Hudson. He also shared his life with two furry companions his little dog, Bentley and big dog Bailee. Charles found in his life opportunities to volunteer by engaging In the St. Ben's Meal Program as a server/helper and food distribution assistant for the Milwaukee Christian Center. He was a Donation Ambassador for the Habitat for Humanity Restore Program and participant in local elections as a Voter Poll worker for local and national political races. . He loved cooking, barbecuing fishing, and biking with his son-in law Steven. He was a we!l rounded individual and Ioved to be socially active. He loved meeting new people and would tell great stories with all the accolades making them laugh. His daughters share his comical side, which they indeed inherited from him. His personality of being reliable and trustworthy developed him into a person of compassion who would help anyone in need. His Legacy is the love of his children and that of laughter, which he believed lightened the world. He could be serious when need be, but ultimately, his comedic jokes would uplift any mood or room. Charles was not only an advocate for security and safety, he very often stressed the importance of self- awareness and home security. His unwavering need to ensure his family was safe at all times was something he engrained in us and we as a family learned to appreciate. Charles lived his life care-free, with family first, all else to follow. He was straight forward when dealing with people and they would often gravitate toward him because he gave great advice and that's how he would want to be remembered. On Saturday, June 18, 2022 , he met his parents at the gates of Heaven. Those of us left to mourn the loss and struggling to find comfort in reconciling his death are his children; TaMeesha (Steven), Asia, and Ted (Stacey); siblings Marilyn Jude, William (Carole) and granddaughter, Alayha. Also, he leaves behind a myriad of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.
