Mr. Dennis Keith Jack

DENNIS KEITH JACK (FINGERS).......Age 57, resided in Miwaukee, WI, at the time of death. He died 4/15/2016, due to complications of sickle cell anemia. Dennis spent the majority of his early childhood in and out of the hospital due to sickle cell anemia. He had many childhood friends and a vivid imagination. He was a great story teller and had a great memory. He could talk for hours about anything. He was good with his hands, loved dressing fashionably and sported the latest trendy hairstyles. He and his brothers, Paul and Douglas, developed a modeling agency. They produced fashion and hair shows for the local community. By age fourteen, Dennis began styling hair. He was a natural hair stylist. Dennis' clientele quickly grew because he was a fantastic hair stylist, for women and men. He was a very popular student at Lincoln High School. To make extra money, Dennis would style the students' hair on the weekends. In 1985, he enrolled in the International Beauty Academy for Barber and Cosmetology, to begin a career in cosmetology. Dennis loved to dance and listen to music, especially jazz and classic old school R&B. He would reminisce and recall exact what he was doing when he first heard each song. Dennis had a heart of gold and loved everyone. After spending some time with him, Dennis would label you "family". Because of his love for people, he called many "son and daughter", beside his natural child. Dennis Jack departed this life on 4/15/2016. He was preceded in death by his: parents, Ruth Harper and Fred Jack; and spiritual spouse, Ester "Doll" Hunter. Dennis had ten children: Semeca (Marcus) Anderson-Shaw, Jovan Benson, Sade Jack, Dennis Benson, Demetrius Benson, Crystal Benson, Denzel Jack, Dominic Jack, Ashley Jack and Damien Johnson. He also had nine grandchildren: Jacari Anderson, Day-John Benson, Demetria Benson, Dennis Benson II, Jaylen Benson, Asia Shaw, Jada Benson, Milan Shaw and Genesis Jack. Dennis had three brothers and two sisters: Stephanie Jack, Paul Jack, Douglas Jack (twin to Dennis), Steven Jack and Lori (Charles) Seay. Thank you to the following for holding a special place in Dennis' heart: Veronica Johnson, special care taker, Robbie "D", Terry Warren, Camron Gilbert, Greg Farmer, Sherice Delany, Shirley (Honey) Fisher, Jamila Fisher, Latoya (goddaughter), Margret Beamon (Flovell Beamon), Tonya Hollerman (cousin) and Chamar Butler (nephew).
