Mrs. Diane Emelda Austin-Lee

Sister Diane Emelda Austin-Lee, aka "T-Da" , "D" and "Ms. Lee') was born on May 28, 1953 to the union of Joseph Arthur and Lucille Alice Rose Austin in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She received her formal education from Saint Galls Catholic Grade School. She graduated from Pius XI High School in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin in May of 1972. She received her associate degree in business at the Spencerian Business College of Milwaukee, Wisconsin in May of 1974. Diane was also a writer and had some of her works published during the 1970's in the Milwaukee African American Periodicals. She accepted Christ as her Savior at eighteen years of age. On August 15, 1971 she was baptized by the late Reverend Jewel Lawrence Williams, Pastor of Tabernacle Community Baptist Church. Diane was a dutiful member of the U her Board and was appointed to the Board of Trustees under the.late Dr. Robert L, Harris, Pastor. She ha been a faithful member to Tabernacle Community Baptist Church for fourty-three years under the current Pastor, Reverend Don Darius Butler. Diane, was united in holy matrimony to Robert Earl Lee on February 14, 1991 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Their union was blessed to be the loving and devoted parents to Robert Earl Lee, Jr. and Lovely Harvey (Loie). Sister Diane worked as a data entry peciali t in payroll for over thirty-five years at Bank One and then' later at Aurora Hospitals. She retired at the tender age of fifty-four and spent her retirement traveling' with her husband and family. She loved cooking and entertaining with her family and friends. Her passion was fashion and she enjoyed shopping with her friends. Dianewas always available to give a ride, lend a helping hand or just a listening ear. She was a strong, loving and devoted wife and mother. Diane Emelda Austin-Lee made her peaceful transition on June 20,2014 at the Zilber Family Hospice Facility surrounded by her loving family. She i preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph A. and Lucille A. Austin; and her middle sister, Elaine Austin. She leaves to cherish her memory: her husband, Robert Earl Lee; stepson, Robert Earl Lee, [r., sister, Gwendolyn Austin; brother-in-law, Phillip Evans; niece, Lewa Evans; foster daughter, Lovely Harvey; , god-daughters, Meagen Bell and Hermoine Bell-Henderson; dearest second mom, Delphine Wilder; two sisters in God, Audrey Stewart and Sandy Silas; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, in-laws, the Lamb family and dear friends.
