Mr. Ernest Moore

Ernest Moore was born on Saturday, August 15,1942 in Kosciusko, Mississippi. He was born to the late Rosie Lee Ford and w.e. Webb. Ernest has two sisters Shirley (Thomas) Bradley and the late Thelma Cooper. He has six nieces and nephews; Reginald Baker, Rosezerian Brewer, Cassandra Cooper, La Juana Prince, Marvis Washington, and Quinton Washington. Ernest received his education from Kosciusko Public School system before he began working to help support his family. Ernest relocated to Milwaukee, WI and met Annie McCoy in the early 70s. On Saturday, September 11, 1999 Ernest married Annie. He became a beloved father to her two children Sherlise (Rickey) Jewell and Herbert McCoy. He has four grandchildren, Shanee McCoy, Jeremy McCoy, Rickesha J ew- ell, and J amiah McCoy; one godson Demetrius McCalester; and 3 great grandchildren. Ernest had a long career at Navistar, Inc. and as a self employed truck driver. He enjoyed the out- doors; spending much of his free time hunting, fishing with his wife and sister in law, the late Lizzie Mae Hamberlin, and working in his yard. Those who knew Ernest would agree that he was hardworking, generous, and talkative. He will forever be missed by his family and friends. Today I say goodbye to a man that has had a major impact on my life. He is a big part of why I am the woman I am today. If you know me, know how close me and my grandpa were; I was his favorite grandchild and he wasn't rraid to let anybody know it. Some may say he iled me, I say everything he did for me was blessing. I thank you for teaching me the value of saving, for buying me things I wanted and needed, and getting me addicted to rice :)III miss the late night fast food runs, you taking up for me when I was in trouble, and your voice calling me ''Bae.'' My grandpa was sick the last couple years of his life, and throughout ius declining health he didn't talk much, but when I walked in the room he made sure he said "Hey Bae!" He never forgot me and made ure I was taken care of. So Papa, I want you to know, I appreciate everything you did for me and I'll never forget You.
