Mr. Isom White Jr.

Isom White Jr. was born on January 23, 1925 to the union of Pauline Johnson-White and Isom White Sr. in Ozan, Arkansas. His parents provided him with the nurturing and guidance to withstand life's challenges. A Time to Plant Isom White accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age; he was united with the Church of The Living God .Isom received his formal education in Ozan, Arkansas and graduated from Claw High School; he furthered his education at Pine Bluff Community College as a Tailor Designer. A Time to Gather Stones Isom White enlisted into the United States Army on April 27, 1943; he was honorably discharged on January 24, 1946. He was employed by Central Transport for 17 years as a transporter Isom was also a member of the Veterans Foreign Wars. A Time to Love On December 23, 1962 Isom married the love of his life Viola Leflore; they were inseparable and spent over 50 years together. They weathered the storm and were there for each other through the thick and thin. He was blessed with two sons and two daughters, they also loved and cared for 52 foster children. A Time to Laugh Isom enjoyed life to the fullest; he was a 'Good Man", warm, kind and loving. He was an awesome son, husband, father, grandfather great grandfather and friend. He illuminated every r om he walked into with his unwitty charm. He also enjoyed gardening, sports and working on cars; he loved cars. A Time to Sleep Life should be measured not by the number of years, but rather by the love shared, the memories made, the joy given and the blessings received. On August 31, 2016 God in His infinite wisdom transitioned Isom from his earthly home to his eternal home. He will be truly missed by all whom lives he touched. A Time to Weep He leaves to cherish his precious memories two sons Isaac Rischardson and Kenyartic Lee White: two daughters Deborah Harris and Jacqulyn Daul; one sister Clarie Nelson of Dallas, Texas; one brother, Joretta White ofCalfornia; five generations of grandchildren; grand-daughter Kashalya Moye that he raised until she fmished college and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other loving relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Pauline Johnson-White and Isom White Sr.; step-mother Odessa White;daughter Jaunita Bovell; two brothers Truman and Jeff White; and one sister Verlie Hopkins. Let us reflect on the good times we had with Isom Knowing he will always be near and dear to our hearts.
